Just came across your channel. Fingerless gloves are awesome and so are you and your channel. Thank you and I look forward to following you and your creativity 💞☺️
I couldn't make the slip stitch cuff look right so I did sc in blo & I think they came out pretty neat! Great tutorial 🙂 I tried to post a pic but can't figure out to...
i tried decreasing a bit after the thumb hole bc my hands are bigger so it was kind of baggy on my fingers and it worked out great! thanks so much for uploading this, i'm really proud of my new fingerless gloves :)
Love your fingerless gloves pattern. I have made the right hand one so far. Going to do the left one next. I used Peaches and Cream cotton yarn #4 and it worked out great. I did make the cuff a bit bigger than you did because the cotton doesn't stretch like the other yarns but went with the 27 stitches in the round for the hand part and they fit fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing your pattern and making the video, which is great.
I have made many pairs using this video. Thank you. Could you tell me how to adapt this pattern using different types of wool eg. double knitting/chunky? I have such a lot of spare wool that I would like to use up. Thank you.
Nice but u gave me the idea to just make a square and only have one seam all the way up inside of glove and slip stich it together thank u for the idea I don't care for circle in the rounds I don't like 2 diff seams but love the basic tutorial pattern thank u
Hello! Just a quick question on 9:44 , what if I made more than 27 rows for the ribbing, do I have to do 27 SC no matter what for the first round or can I make more? Thanks
You want to try and keep it even with the same amount of rows you do. If you did 30 ribbing rows you should have 30 single crochets in the first round.
Very much a beginner and was wondering if you could tell me why mine isn't stretchy, it barely stretches, is it because my tension is too high or am I somehow doing it wrong?
@@SierrasCraftyCreations my tension was definitely too tight, luckily I made it long enough to still fit, thanks for the tutorial!! It was very easy to follow and like my glove now :DDD
Hi! I’m late to the party but I’m wondering how I can adjust the pattern for small hands? I am an adult but I have the hands of an elementary student haha, I’m thinking I’ll just need to eyeball it as I go but do you have any tips or ratios I should keep in mind?
Hi there! When doing the cuff, test the size by wrapping it around your wrist. Once you have a snug fit you can stop crocheting the cuff rows. Count your rows of the cuff and create a single crochet for each row of the cuff. So if you end up with only 22 cuff rows, you should place 22 single crochets in the first round of the body of the glove. Hope this makes sense ;)
Yes of course! You will just chain the number you want the ribbing to be. The starting chain creates the height of the ribbing, and each row creates the length which you will need it to be long enough to wrap around your wrist comfortably.
I had to do way more than 27 rows to get to 5.5 and now your eating a specific amount of stitches for the thumb hole. You even said it didn’t have to be 27 just to 5.5 so now what do I do?
Hi there! Everyones tension is different. Sounds like you have a tighter tension so you will have to do more rows to match the length. That is normal, and totally fine. I am not sure what part you are stuck on. Sounded like you had to make more rows to get the correct length, but also worried about the thumb hole? Can you please be more specific so I know how to help?
@@SteffiSpranklesNBelle I would count 19 stitches then create your thumb hole. You just want it to be on the side of your glove for a comfortable fit. :)
@@SierrasCraftyCreations okay, so i started.... i am working on the 27 rows of slipstitches rn, but i think i already have way more than that but it doesn't meet the 5,5 inches yet. does it matter when i have slightly more rows, i think my yarn is slightly thinner!
@@juultje06_57 no that’s totally okay! You can keep adding more rows until you reach the right length. When you go to the body of the gloves in the next section you will have to add more Single crochets. Again totally fine. Just single crochet as evenly as you can.
@@SierrasCraftyCreations this is such a dumb question but what do u mean by "evenly" and i just added the single crochets, i eventually counted 32! does it make any difference with the thumb hole?
Ya lost me.... I was super excited to try your tutorial, I have tried 2 other tutorials, but I had high hopes for this one..... I have NO idea how you got 27 single crochets, there’s is absolutely no space for them🤷🏼♀️ maybe fingerless gloves aren’t for me
Oh no I’m so sorry to hear you are having trouble with making fingerless gloves. Thankfully for this pattern you don’t need to put the same number of sc around as me. If as much as you can, and when you go to make the thumb hole later just take the number of sc you were able to make. Say it’s 18, then you divide that by 2 and that will be the count you use to do the thumb hole round. Hope this helps!
I am a newbie and this is the most easiest tutorial explained I am literally HOOKED! thank you so much for the inspiration. 💗
Thank you for offering the free pattern ❤ can’t wait to make these for my Ireland trip!

I guess I’m a tightie!! I had to do 37 rows on cuff, but still did 27 sc around top

could i do more rows for the cuff if it doesn't seem to stretch enough, but still carry on and use the same measurements for the rest of the tut?
I've made two pairs of these gloves now. Thank you so much for the wonderful video and for sharing this pattern!!
my rainbow gloves are so cool!!!!!
Thourough demonsyration, is it possible to get the written pattern
Can I do more than 27 rows for the ribbing part to fit my wrist size? And would that change anything afterwards when I continue the glove? Thank you!

I have some red heart soft yarn for these gloves and the 5 mm is not working, can I go up to a 6 mm instead
Absolutely you can 😉. I did mine in 6mm hook and it works.
Love these! Can I ask what you charge?
I sold these for $16 at my latest craft show :)
Thank you!
If you don't mind me asking, how much do you sell these for at your craft fair? Love them BTW... super easy ❤️
I sold a set for $16 at my last show, and they seemed to sell well at that price :)
will 1 yarn be enough for 2 gloves?😊
You will need around 120 yards of yarn ;)
Perfect. Thank you. I had no problem following you1🧶💙
I have size 4 acrylic yarn. Is that the same thing? If not, will that work?
Yes that is correct.

ok what am i doing wrong in that i have to DIG for that last stitch in the slip stitch for the cuff?? omg! driving me insane! lol
Ok but what do i do if my slip stiches at the begining cant strech?? Can i like, continue the rows until it fits my wrist?
yup, you can keep adding rows until it fits.
Just curious why slip stitch instead of sc
Just a different way to create a ribbed cuff. They create different textures.
