That would probably be a better idea, otherwise, some people might just show up in the vid to bother you. Just take care when selling stuff for Star Sand. Also, I noticed you prefer to walk around when building, is it a matter of preference over using flight mode or does flight mode cause more placement problems with the building pieces?
@@serapheid3669 I tend not to mind people showing up, and the server im on is in SEA which has a very low population when im online. and walking around when building is mostly preferance, I usually play survival games where there isnt flying, so its just become easier for me to build like this (and more enjoyable)
zero brother did nobody tell you that you can press the ~ key to go into fly mode and be able to move around freely in open camera mode to build without needing to run all over the place well no0w you know xD
@@chrismclean2366 I used that to grab the overview parts of the video and thumbnail. Idk why but I find it more pleasant to move around the game world and place building parts, I guess im just so used to other survival games it feels odd to build any other way.

I most likely will at some point, I havent tried the defence event yet as Iv just been going through things slowly while making builds, but once I have an idea of how they work i'll put something together.
@@ZerosterGuides nice, can't wait for it! As a heads up, I tried it one time and from what I can see, the enemies tend to spawn at around the corners outside of the territory. they then try to make a beeline for the resonance filter (they seem to ignore everything in the way unless it blocks their path, so you can build the filter away from your house if you don't want it attacked) through the fastest available route possible trying to use stairs and whatnot, so you can technically make a path for them. don't bother with "defense" walls though, they don't seem to work as enemies seem to just phase through them, and they don't teleport with you when you move your base anyway. I hope this helps!
@@ZerosterGuides no problem, and I forgot to mention this but there are also flyers and a boss spawns at the end. I don’t know if there are other types, but the one that spawned for me was the one that throws stuff at you like a catapult
I just destroyed my base to build this one but theres not a single flat spot. Or i cant find it. Its also, only phase 1 week 1 day 3 so.. not much options
If it was me I would build the front of the house at the highest point, then the parts further back where the ground is steep, that way you can have easy access to the front, and you don't need to worry about a full patch of flat ground. same deal if your near a lake, build the front on the shore and the back in the water. I hope this helped
Tired of vids saying STARTER, then proceed to have many levels and power off the rip! This is NOT one of those, as it jut shows you where things can go for later.
I can get it from both sides, as a player and viewer (since I used to watch building videos myself) Its annoying to see something you cant yet create despite it being called a starter base. as a creator, I want to make something that can last a little while and provide enough space for future crafting benches, not only that but better looking buildings generally do better as videos, so there is some incentive to use higher teir and better looking items. I try and strike the middle ground, making it so the shell of the base is starter, but the interior is more mid game to show how the base could progress.
at 6:30 I did say it becomes impossible to place the garage later, if you remove the wall on the right side of the garrage it should be possible to place it first, then put the wall in after it has been placed. its just odd clipping issues but its possible to work around it.
@@jirokure yeah hopefully, though a big reason I knew to try placing it first is things not fitting even though they should is a super common thing in most survival games, so just incase it doesnt get fixed, knowing you can usually place walls after placing an item down can be super helpful.

@@ZerosterGuides ahh i found my mistake. i tried to put a second wall after that stair wall. weird. it seem its "hitbox" is not square bahaha
