Tubeless doesn’t work for CX because we run pressures that are too low, leading to burping the tire. The advantages of tubular with low pressures far outweigh any tubeless benefits. Tubeless is best suited for midrange pressures for MTB.

8:50 I agree. You should never save any weight on a bike because you could save that weight in a different way. Its stupid to buy a lighter frame because you could have bought lighter cranks. And never buy light cranks because you could buy a light saddle. And light saddles are stupid, you could buy a light stem. We should all have 30kg bikes and be very smart.
From a hardtail rider. I am currently using the xx1 stainless chain, I am currently at 5x and still going farther than the stock chain that comes with a NX drive train. I change at .5" wear.
A lot of people use e-bikes as commuter bikes so are more likely to be in in heavy traffic than your average roadie so I can see the added safety concern.
Tubeless just doesn't work as well at CX pressures. The side wall in the tires they make are too stiff, and the risk of burping is high. I can run 24 PSI is a cotton tubular and it works great, but the less flexible tubeless tires with a lower TPI need more pressure, like 28 to my 24. Challenge makes the supple tubeless CX tires, but they recommend 1.8-2.5 bar compared to the 1.5-2.5 bar for the tubular. I personally am using the baby limus team edition (cotton casing and latex tube), including in the dry (a rare occurrence) and in full mud. I got a podium last year because the guy in front of me had his tubeless tire come off the rim, you would definitely want inserts.
Drone coverage will be better, faster, safer and cheaper than camera motorcycles or helicopters. Bring it on. It will allow more coverage to more races.
