Hi Daniel, I'm overjoyed with this message and it exactly answers the question I've been asking myself recently. I've always considered myself a rather poor student of ACIM and so recently when I started to get the feeling that I can really move beyond constantly dealing with the inner darkness of my ego and start expanding my consciousness and light through joy instead I worried that I was deluding myself and just falling for another trick of the ego to get me into spiritual bypassing. But it seemed to me that the Light and very high frequencies on the planet are so way beyond what was available when the Course was written over 50 years ago that our spiritual development can now go much much faster than was the case back then. I've been thinking that once you have a good grasp of the dynamics of the ego and how it keeps you enslaved to scarcity, terror and guilt and you've consciously experienced that for years - surely we can now focus instead on living in joy,, trust, creative expression and abundance as our path!
