I should really get more into her. I read The Haunting of Hill House back in 2018 when the series was on and had a distinctly tepid reaction to it, though it was far better than that abysmal adaptation. Her story stories seem to be better, though I have only read a choice few. Which of her novels would you recommend?

Everyone raves about Hill House, but I much preferred We Have Always Lived in the Castle.
