I am using JEEP COMPASS LIMITED PLUS (Top Model) 4x4 Diesel Automatic since March 2020... my first service was in 8 months because the car completed 15000km and it costed me 12000/-... i found it to be on an expensive side... right now my car has done 25000km and soon it will go for servicing which will cost 18,000/- for sure... so yes Jeep Compass is expensive to maintain.... also my front windshield broke due to a stone on highway and its very expensive 19,000/-... my rear bumper was scratched and i replaced it for 22,000/- (new rear bumper + paint job)... overall i am not very happy with the car to be honest so right now I'm selling it and buying MG Gloster...
is has 5 star rated safety ratings in euro Ncap , it consist all three test frond, side and poll crash , none of indian car has scored 5 star in all thia three test...thats why it's expensive...

@@primefansofprimal9539 I’m using 9 Speed Diesel Automatic since 21 months… crossed 30,000kms recently but never faced such issues… the only problem with Diesel Automatic is that its extremely boring until 2200RPM and below 40-50kmph specially in city…
One must keep aside 5k per month for its maintenance as it will grow old and major replacements will be needed, it will become very expensive actually. Wahi 5k hum SIP karein to we can become richer than what we r today.
one must can also take 5 years extended warranty while purchasing luxury vehicle (for jeep compass its Rs. 60000 approx) so no worry's upto 5 years and than one must can obtain engine cover add-on insurance upto 10 years . so actually one mustn't need to keep aside 5k monthly or even yearly... i hope you get the point

In my experience, major issues like timing chain replacement, suspension replacement, 1 or 2 injectors, turbo bearing etc such major expenses come at around 8 to 10 years. Hope aapko itna na lage!! U can try skoda Slavia..., mostly much better drive and excellent comfort will available only in sedan cars, and if you want to go for suv then compass is the best in this both category, other cars are not that much good in driving and comfort, though you can test it your self by driving (test drive the cars back to back in one day) following cars of our suggestions.. Do not buy jeep if you are considering petrol vehicles... Jeep is for adventure...and 4×4 is the image of jeep ....though the luxury and confortness is far better in jeep than skoda.... But mileage is bit less in jeep for petrol and diesel both... Go for jeep if you want luxury and smooth riding experience...go for skoda if mileage is your first priority...
Compass will cost you around 25L on road price for petrol auto and diesel manual...1st or second model In same price or less you will get top model of harrier.... Safety, comfort and luxury is better in compass. In both car engine is same... Milege is better in harrier...

i am really scared to buy this car after seeing about the third party service centre and i read alot of reviews mentioned later if we get a problem to the service centre aka mopar jeep wont consult us and mainly mopar service centre doesnt cooperate and rectify the car properly
I have compass diesel 4x4 auto, living in surat and very much happy with this car and I didn't have face any issue in my car (1 year and 11000 km completed) , go for extended warranty of 5 years and you will be driving ur car haasel free.... I am very much happy with the service center and car performance. We have a group here of jeep compass around 150 people and all are satisfied with the car and service center... There must be good after sales service if you are planning to buy this car, otherwise don't go for it... even in some area's skoda and wv have also service related issues.... Choose wisely...
Sir, it will Mentioned in your manual...Jeep service book. For diesel it is different number oil and petrol engine also there is different number oil...

Is the windshield not covered under insurance? And what about the rear bumper? Is it too not covered?
