Not that I totally agree with Wallace Thornhill on everything. I do still believe space-time must be quantized, and that, although the universe is spatially infinite it is not eternal in time.

I also remember exactly where I was when I first heard of the Rutherford experiment. At the time, I was nonplussed. I thought it was kind of obvious.
