To find out more about how Sweden is developing its own LLMs, we talked with Magnus Sahlgren, head of research for natural language understanding (NLU) at AI Sweden. He talked about his early interest in the philosophy of language, then in computational linguistics, and how those schools of thought influenced his later interest in AI and NLU.
