Looks like the back is brighter than the front. Maybe uneven UV? It would be interesting to see how this method compares with peroxide vapor. Also, did you clean the shell first?
Hey thanks for the comment! I think the salon cream on the back was definitely the best out of the two. I did clean the shells well with dawn soap and a brush before hand. I like your idea! I think both of these solutions I tested were hydrogen based but I would love to take it a step further and have a controlled indoor setup and maybe retry this test along with a straight hydrogen bath. Any suggestions you have I'm all for!
You should try the retro vapor method, Macho nacho did a vid about it, and got some good results
Do you have any suggestions for whitening the inside of yellowed cups?
