Thanks Cody. Love my AutoProPad full! I might get the IM508 with X400pro. IM608 Pro kit is like $5200.00 here in Canada. Bit pricey when you have the APP already. I don't think the APP is as good with Euro as is the IM508 or IM608.
Never had this tool and to be honest I thought it was no good based on reviews. I use Silca hardware and software and added the IM 608 since it came out . One thing I do know , I will never ever get my money out of those machines . Expensive add-ons to provide good service .
The best bank for the buck seems to be launch imo. Autel is also good but little more expensive. Just note, not 1 tool will do “everything” but these are good options
I honestly prefer to scope the injectors first. Doing this I can see if there is in fact pintal movement. If I’m suspecting a flow issue I do a injector drop test next on each injector and record the pressure drop of each injector.
Yes sir and also use the scan tool to perform injector drop test with the fuel pressure gauge also hooked up. You want to see how much each injector drops and shouldn’t be more then a 2 psi difference
The one with the difference is an issue. Whether leaking or not.. if it's different, and the electrical side of things are the same, yiu have a POTENTIALLY faulty injector. To be absolutely sure, switch location with a known good, and retest.
Nicely done Cody!
That was made to look too easy Cody!😳
Haha yeah no kidding!
You're going to be very successful Cody.
That means a lot coming from you Wyatt! Thank you sir 😃

Both tools are awesome but yes the app has limitations just like any tool. I love my im608 a lot.

I honestly didn’t like this tool when I gm first got it but it’s growing on me. I love my autel though.
Hey Cody, thinking of getting a new scan tool. Is there any u recommend that can do “everything” u would want and need in a flat rate setting ?
The best bank for the buck seems to be launch imo. Autel is also good but little more expensive. Just note, not 1 tool will do “everything” but these are good options
I need this tool That was stupid easy!
Took longer to grab the camera 😂
Is the pro pad easier than the im608 for ford or are they similar?
Very similar man. I like both on ford.
Did you quit working as a mechanic? I must of missed some vids haha
Cody, IT LOOK LIKE IS A GOOD TOOL WHAT U THINK THE DIFFRNT BETWEEN THIS ON AND AUTEL 609 AND PRICE WISE I THINK IS A BIG DIFFERNT THANKS.
I’m not honestly sure the difference between them.
What tool do you use for newer Mazdas?
For keys?
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 yes I heard they can be a pain even with the factory tool. Is this true?
I looked reviews up on this tool on UA-cam some days it’s junk. What do you think of it?? Any issues ya have with it
It’s hit or mis on this tool. I definitely don’t like it as much as my autel 608
What brand key curring do you use mobil?
Don’t have one yet but looking at the xhorse dolphin.
Do I need to cut the key before programming
Yes it needs to be cut first
What is the price tag on this programmer? I’m sure it’s about a 1/4 price as snap on
This one runs about 2k
Clearly you've filled out the D1 as well 🤫

Yo Cody this is random but what’s your favorite method of testing injectors out of curiosity ? Lol
I honestly prefer to scope the injectors first. Doing this I can see if there is in fact pintal movement. If I’m suspecting a flow issue I do a injector drop test next on each injector and record the pressure drop of each injector.
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 ok notes taken! For the drop test u just cycle the key so the pump primes?
Yes sir and also use the scan tool to perform injector drop test with the fuel pressure gauge also hooked up. You want to see how much each injector drops and shouldn’t be more then a 2 psi difference
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 ok so let’s say there’s more than 2 psi. Does that mean it’s leaking into the cylinder ?

Petty soon you going to need help,
Looks that you are busy
