The most frustrating thing is that the Coin app won't run in the background. As soon as I answer a call, check my calendar, check the temperature, whatever, the Coin app stops doing anything. I'm happy to share my phone's processing potential to help build the network, but I don't want to have to stare at it 24/7 in order to make it work for me.
I think the hour block-out is counter productive. For example, if we are building a geo spacial network with data that may change within the hour like temperature, this can delay that. Another example is mining the same block at vastly different altitudes.
So I started using the coin app about a month and a half ago . I also got the sentinel x for the just pay shipping deal . The only thing that ive noticed that needs work is that when I’m driving with the auto collect on it skips anywhere from 5-10 squares before collecting . Is there a way to shorten that ? I’ve only collected about 4000 coins since I started and it’s starting to feel a little pointless. I have it on 247 and I just feel like I should be getting a closer to a prize or something

I drive for a living so this app is great for me lol. It runs in background for me. I drive about 1k miles a week. Just got my sentinel in mail yesterday. 12x is huge. Also getting the coin pro membership later this month. 12x the rewards and 3x the mining speed? Hell to fuck yea. I will be saving my to convert to bitcoin. Unless this crypto currency blows up.

If anybody wants to do the math and see if it's worth it do pay for the plan divide the price of the plan by the current cost of the token and thats how many tokens you would need to mine in order to break even. Example. Coin pro as of right now is $34.95, the current price of XYO is 0.000503. 34.95/.000503= 69,483 .... soooo, unless you're a trucker driving every day, it's not worth it. I made about 3k coins on an 18-hour drive so, I don't know what numbers he is talking about. I did a video where I showed proof of all my tests and numbers if you want to see it. The price has dropped a ton since my video as well.

Moving with it open gains more rewards than just sitting stationary. There isn’t a way to have it run completely in the background, as far as I know. They do have a screen saver function that works pretty well though!
I have the sentinel ufc and am a pro member and u can leave it running in the background for a few hours I think mine got to 10 hours before needing me to recharge the background time! Under the pick ax mining symbol near the bottom in the coin app there is a button that says auto mine and that usually works... and if not I remember setting up mining in the background somewhere I just forgot where... and I do this daily! Anyhow there is another vid on UA-cam that explains it and thats how I knew to enable the feature!
I'd say to always mine while driving. There is no need to keep watching it, just let it go. I drive about 50 miles a day and I make around 7000 COINs per week.

Only the passenger should be mining? I travel Solo in a motorhome up and down the East coast. In the winter time all over Florida, in the summer I'm all over New England and Maine. I see a lot of comments and videos about how many coins you can earn but don't see anything about how much they're worth.

I’ve had a great ROI! Unfortunately the COIN conversion has fallen greatly. Whatever you mine in the app converts only 1% to XYO (I.e. 100k COIN ≈ 1k XYO). Not my best investment, not my worst 😎

Do you have any videos that talks about multiple devices? Specific example is I'm going on a road trip from Ohio to Florida with wife and 2 friends. If all 4 of us has COIN running and mining the entire drive, does that affect the amount of coin you would receive? Would it be more beneficial just only have 1 device collecting the data or does it matter?
One last question and this may be your opinion unless you have data on this but do you know or think it would be worth it to purchase a prepaid phone and run two devices everywhere you go? cheapest prepaid plan I'm seeing is T-Mobile for $15 a month. In my view, it doesn't make any sense to be a + or Pro subscriber. You're paying USD to get more XYO, but the two are not equally interchangeable. Even if you cash out your XYO once you THINK you have enough, like with stocks, there are fees to translate XYO to USD and also you can't transfer XYO to USD directly. You have to go through an intermediary, which means an extra fee. Unless you can MORE than double your monthly fee in XYO at current price, not worth it IMO.

I still have $50 in my wallet from my birthday (because I rarely buy anything other than groceries) that I may put towards some XYO. Just gotta figure out how to do that (started an Atomic Wallet account today). As for me, what I'm doing is I have an old iPhone 5 that I tethered to my main phone and hooked up a Sentinel to. That way I can still use my main phone for GPS, calls, etc and my old phone will be doing all the geotracking. I also acquired some other older smartphones for free that I'll set up in two different corners of my house to do some stationary geotracking. No sentinels on those as it's not worth it, but it'll be a little bit extra and since I buy shares of my home square it'll add to my overall gain. My 80 year old father assumes this crypto in general is monopoly money.. Sometimes it will continue to mine without data for a short period of time as long as you keep the app running. If you put it in the background or turn it off it won't reconnect until you have data again. I'm a truck driver and it can be frustrating when I lose data for 50 miles or so..

I would say its worth it if you drive a lot of miles. The subscription cost is not worth it otherwise.
I have a couple extra phones that I let just sit around at home for free. Now that XYO has skyrocketed, COIN has very low value though.

Committed3d Tech update for you, I’m now mining Pro!!! Finally got it all squared away this afternoon! I was Plus for only 2 hours and then went Pro!

Since Pro was activated...about 12 hours ago, I've mined about 700 XYO...all at home...mostly stationary. Which is AWESOME!!!

Pretty much two days of non stop running. I used it for 17 hours in a row and ended off with 650 coins. If I did this for a year at same pace. I’d be at 250,000 roughly. That’s like a 10th of a 0.025 Bitcoin purchase. This is rough.
