I was at the last game and Chabot was amped standing the entire game waiting to get on the ice, never seen that competitive side of him before. Had seats right at bench and glass, was neat to see it up close
As a lifelong fan that was 6 when this team arrived, Wally nailed it. Its a giant red flag if every media member, blogger, and influencer close to this team immediately knew this was a bad idea and the team didnt, so I am not as forgiving as Yorkie is with "hey, they sad whoops". Leeder and Mendes both had to be at least aware this was going to happen, and both shpuld have a great handle on the pulse of this fanbase. So my question is was this the owner overriding folks trying to talk him out of this?
As a former builder in Ottawa, I cannot imagine the level of bureaucratic regulations, at every level, to build that stadium. Ottawa is the worst jurisdiction to get things done because of it.
It was a power move by the owners, aimed at the NCC. My hunch, they (the owners) did not like the .... "ya sure, will get back to you later this year". Clash of Private vs Public (Working Out of Home) 2025 edition. #Snafu
People are so stupid and sensitive for nothing. Who cares about Quebec City. They are right in their minding. I am an ex Nordiques Fan. Never I will cheer for Montreal.
The jersey went too far but I’m ok with the rest of it. Grow the Sens brand. Key words: our brand! Neither fanbase is ok with defacing their jerseys. That was short sighted. Focusing efforts locally or elsewhere isn’t really an argument, why not do both? Expand on all fronts where the opportunities present themselves. Give Quebec pre-season and regular season games too. They would absolutely turn up to support the Sens and we should welcome them in. Fans put up with home games in Europe no problem. Suggestion to schedule back to back home games against Toronto over a weekend in Quebec City. Make it harder for leafs fans to invade. Sens fans can sell their tickets at a premium to Quebecers starving for hockey that’ll cheer against Toronto instead of selling them to the visiting team’s fans. Win win.
I used to sell my Leafs tickets cuz I couldn’t stand being in the building with so many obnoxious Leaf fans. If we are winning it’s fine, but otherwise, I’m ready to throw my beer on the ‘interlopers’. Not healthy!
New tax on fans wearing opposing jerseys. $20 extra per seat lower bowl, $10 upper bowl. Split the extra funds between the Sens community foundation and CHEO so if people complain about it, you can fire back with "you hate sick kids????".
What a blast listening to Noodles stories..love it

I don’t think it would be bad to have one regular season game in QC
It would make for a fun Road trip

Make them Toronto games
Shovels are in the ground in Calgary, maybe that was a hint to the NCC , to get things moving along .
Forget about Pettersson I’d want Garland for the playoffs. Seems like a pain in the ass
Gotta love Noodles!
Noodles is the best!
Any chance you can ship a pizza out to Wuhan?

Ian got caught with his pants down . I’m sure he wasn’t too happy with Cirl.
You think the head of comms didn't have any clue this was going to go out?
@ I’m sure he knew but wasn’t expecting the backlash. So it’s his job to clean it up 😜
Rest Sens Rest!

And who was the QB when their PP was really really good? It sure as hell wasn't friggin Sanderson.
