- Why keep the Sabbath? | Pastor Bullon 2022 (Christian Sermons)
1. Because it was created in creation week.
According to Genesis 2: 1-2: “So the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he did. And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it, because on it he rested from all the work that he had done in creation.” Here it says that the act that concluded with the creation of this planet and its surroundings was to set aside a period of time for God.
2. Because it is intended to maintain God's relationship with man.
Lev 23:3 states: “Six days shall work, but the seventh day shall be rest, holy convocation; you will do no work; Sabbath belongs to the Lord wherever you dwell.” The Creator wants us to nurture a friendly relationship with Him. Saturday hours are for praise and worship of the Creator. The Creator himself rested, blessed and sanctified this day.
3. Because it revitalizes the spiritual life and avoids stress.
In Mark 2:27, Jesus stated, "He also said to them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath." With the hectic of everyday life we are all at risk of stress. God, foreseeing our current lifestyle, established a day of rest from the worries and cares of this life.
4. Because we follow the example of Jesus.
In Matthew 5:17, Jesus spoke: “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abrogate, but to fulfill.” And in Luke 4:16 he says, “He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and on the sabbath he went into the synagogue, according to his custom, and rose up to read.” As we see in this verse, keeping the Sabbath day for Jesus was commonplace. And if He respected him being God and man, why shouldn't we?
5. Because it is the seal of God and it is in his law.
Ezekiel 20:20 says, "And keep my Sabbaths holy, and let them be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am the LORD your God." Exodus 20:8-11 “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you will work, and you will do all your work; but the seventh day is rest for the Lord your God; do no work on it, you, or your son, or your daughter, or your servant, or your maid, or your beast, or your foreigner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and he rested on the seventh day; therefore Jehovah blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” He who worships the true God also respects his signs, a
conclusion
Saturday was born in God's infinite heart of love, and every time we venerate the Creator on his day, he fills us with joy, peace, and hope. I invite you to experiment. Dedicate this day to the Savior. God bless you!

(Si guardamos el cuarto mandameintos como debe ser seremos Sellados)

@@abelmongelos8297 no es Sabado sino Shabath, descanso o reposo y JAMAS vas a encontrar en la Biblia que Dios haya cambiado el Shabath por el domingo gregoriano, eso lo hizo la infame religion catolica y tambien es seguida esta mentira por la gran mayoria de las religiones cristianas.
Pastor muy buen tema queda muy claro que el sábado es el día del Señor y no hay en la biblia otro día que Dios santificar creo en su palabra y no hay otra gracias por poner en alto la para de Dios .

El pastor Billón dice que nosotros los evangélicos haremos pacto con la iglesia católica,no mi gente él ha hecho al estar de acuerdo con el homosexualismo.

Entonces cuando resucito!!! si, murio el viernes cuando resucito!!! pues la Palabra dice que Jesus dijo esto en:

Sábado sabat significados son de descanso, la biblia habla del día de reposo del día de descanso no dice q es el día sábado por que sábado significa descanso por lo tanto solo dice que descanso el día séptimo, que a los tiempos de hoy podría ser cualquier dia que yo elija para dios ,.
Porque el domingo o primer día de la semana es día del Señor y los apóstoles partían el pan .... hechos capítulo 15 todo el capítulo .los apóstoles prohibieron a los nuevos cristianos circunsidarse y cumplir la ley sencillo
no fue en domingo sino en Shabaton, busca en el interlineal griego, el idioma en que fue escrito el Nuevo Testamento y veras que la mala traduccion puso domingo en lugar de Shabaton.
