Feel weird, suddenly this channel got face censorship. Still can't get used to it.
Thanks for watching. We blurr highly visible faces due privacy and identity protection laws in Germany, where our channel is registered as a business. Without blurring these we can get heavy fines. Data and privacy protection is a very high value in Europe and on some airlines it is even standard that the crew notifies the passengers as a part of the welcome announcement that is prohibited by law to film or photograph the crew or other passengers on board without an official permission and their written consent.
@@flightexperience_official Required by UA-cam or German? Man....need time to digest it, after so many years of following your channel.
It's required by German/ EU law. Just to give an example why we blurr more and more: we've recently had a case that somebody spotted himself in one of our videos and has threatened us with a lawyer if we don't remove him from our video. That's his right and we had to cut out the part where he was seen to avoid legal consequences. Luckily UA-cam knows that there are different rules all around the world and provides tools to edit the video even if it is already published. I mean this guy was nice and contacted us before taking legal action. But such a kindness is not guaranteed. That is why we have become more cautious and blurr more and more.
How would they know your based in Germany
@@Airshiw I follow this channel since 2k subscribers. Normally he start his journey from Munich, he got more time doing shower, prepared coffee and drive own car to Airport. So old fans after watching so many episode can assumed he is from Munich. Btw, his flight journey always start fron Munich and end at Munich too.
