I make sure you are the first video I look at when I go to UA-cam! You are such an inspiration. I love watching you and listening to you. You make things simple to follow and your ideas are awesome. Please keep making videos for us.
The entire flower would look beautiful on white card stock 👍
I absolutely love this technique, Natasha. It is innovative, beautiful and unique. I have not seen anything like it. The grouting completely changed the look and upgraded the background from pretty to outstanding. Thank you for sharing something new that I can accomplish, too. 💖🇨🇦💖
Fantastic! I still have lots of scrap, so this will be useful, but the effects are gorgeous! I really like the strip, rather than always filling the background. "Grouting with gold"..... now there's a great title..... 🤩
Thank you for sharing. It would be cool to see what you made with the blue.
Thank you so much Natasha. Great ideas again. I really look forward to M,W, and Friday evenings to see what you give us.
I made a card using this technique about a year ago. I had a ton of leftover pieces of holographic paper and couldn't bear to part with it. So I made a card and several tags. They came out great! And yes, the most important thing is to not over think it. Thanks for sharing.
I knew I was saving all those scraps for a reason! Thank you!
Amazing! I was thinking of something like this when i saw a book cover of a stylised fire. Then i came home and saw your video.😊😊
Wow, love the red shades with the gold embossing powder. I'm definitely gonna be trying this technique ❤
Natasha, You are so very creative!! I always enjoy your videos!!
I have so many scraps I feel like a horder! ❤It’s almost ridiculous. TFS once again you knocked it out of the park!
This is soooo gorgeous.
Oh Tash, you're brilliant at coming up with new ideas! Those backgrounds look fantastic and your cards amazing as usual. Thanks forcall your inspiration.xx
So smart!! ❤ So many different colors you could do these cards in. Love them. 😊
Gorgeous. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
I'm impressed with the beautiful outcome of this card. Thank you ❤
Lovely card as always 😊
Beautiful! Thank you!!
So cute!! You are amazing!!
Inspiring way to use up those scraps❤
I love this Idea.❤
That’s so cool - I need ideas for scraps of pattern paper. I have so much
Amazing once again genius. Thank you xx
That is beautiful!!! Can't wait to try!!
Natasha, Now this card has eye appeal ! The colors you used for the flower, stem and leaf , with the shine , is really very attractive !
I appreciate that you described the scissors ! So many card makers call them the same thing, but you describing them let’s me know that I have what I need ❣️ Thank you for such a good channel ❤️
Great idea! I will be sure to try it out. Do you have any ideas on how to use black and white scraps. My box of them is overflowing.
You did it again! Great inspiration for those of us who have TONS of scraps. Thanks so much!
Great technique. Beautiful card ❤
Awesome card! Bringing out the scraps 😊
Beautiful 💕 💕
Love ❤️ it
Great card ideas for our scraps. Can you tell me which acrylic paint pens you use?
WOW!!!!!
I have made this type of background and have felt that they were very overwhelming and super busy. It never occurred to me to cut them down and use them as accent strips 🤯 Thanks ♥️
Will you come to my house and use up 20 years of scraps for me? My Bee scissors are about as old and still work great. Thank you, Natasha!
Beautiful card. Love the two pop-up layers of the petals. We live in a rural area at the end of a gravel road. I planted a few Coneflowers years ago on our property, thinking that I could spread the seeds along the roadside. This is the first year we've had good results with about a dozen plants sprouting along the way, wishing everyone a happy day as they pass!! Go, Coneflowers!!
What a terrific scrap using technique! I always tend to default to strips. When you took out the glitter I thought, oh no, not glitter ( I hate the mess it always makes for me)… then you used the embossing powder and I was sold!! Love that look! Definitely going to try this! Thank you for another wonderfully inspiring video!!🧑🏼🎨😄
Oooh these look like fun!! I love doing mosaics and they make beautiful cards!! Love this technique Tash!!
I love your description of auditioning your stamps. It made me chuckle 🤭
This one of my favorite ideas of yours. I am going to give a go this weekend.
Oh wow Natasha! You are so creative! 😊 Love the way you not only use the grouting technique, but also use scraps to make the flower, and giving it dimension too. I have so many scraps and you’ve really given me food for thought. Thanks so much! 😊❤
That is positively the best way of using scraps that I have ever seen, thanks Natasha. Ruth down under.
Another fantastic technique to use up scraps! Your brain must never stop! You’re the best!
Great idea. Oh, how I wish you had shown all the cards at the end. I love the one you showed. 😊
You are absolutely so clever! Thank you so much Natasha for showing us all of your fantastic ideas you are so inspiring ❤!
Your layered coneflower with the two shades of card is a fantastic effect! Never thought about using embossing powder on an adhesive sheet 🤓, looks great!! Lovely card!
Amazing card as always and I loved how you showed the real time fussy cutting to give us an idea of the time it takes you! Thank you Natasha! ✨🙏🏻
I absolutely love using scraps for cards! I feel as if it’s the old adage, “Making a silk purse out of a sow’s ear!” Lovely cards, as usual, Natasha! TFS!
Fantastic! Would be great to make a few of these backgrounds, when you just feel like playing, without thinking! 😜😜😜😜❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful card, Natasha!! I've done backgrounds like this too and used gilding flakes. The finish with the flower is so nice. 👍 I save empty spice jars with shaker tops and keep glitter in them. Great when glitter has to go on in a light sprinkling. Don't use it much myself and I know it's not your favourite stuff either 😅 Thanks for sharing this.
Hi Natasha, you are the absolutely crafting brain. Best ideas, most ideas, so cool and inspiring. Thank you and best wishes from Vienna,Austria. Sissy
Love this technique, and your card is gorgeous 🌻🌻 I recently made a grouting background and ended up with glitter everywhere, and had to set it with hairspray 😢😢 think I will try using embossing powder.
absolutely fabulous. Your thoughts on how to do something and follow through and make the most beautiful cards.....really wonderful xx
Thank you for reminding me of this technique. As someone said they can look busy - so a great idea to cut them down to accent strips. I've also used black glitter and mount that onto black CS. PS I've never thought to use embossing powder before on this technique!
Excellent scrap busting idea🎉I have tried this before but didn't like my finished article😢. You have inspired me to try again. Always a good idea to come back and give another try😅❤
Great card, I was hoping you would show all the finished cards....please!!!! Thanks for sharing!
Natasha, I love the cards that you make! I had a ton of scraps and with your tutorials I have been able to cut that box of scraps down to half and having a blast making cards with them!
Hi Natasha, WOW what a really lovely way to do a background so simple but so beautiful & effective thank you so much for sharing 💖👍✨
looks like I am the first this time. and Yes Natasha I very much loved watching your video, and am already looking and waiting for the next one.
This would make a stunning stained glass piece if it was velum that was colored from behind, then chop it up. Great idea Natasha.
Have you made a video tour of your ‘really limited craft area’. I’m downsizing and would love to see what is possible.
great technique, I will be trying it to see what kind of wild designs I can come up with, TYFS
Great video!! I liked the gold embossed one! 🥰💕🥰🐶❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Good card as usual. You have a nack for making me wonder if it will look good, bu it comes out looking good. I wonder if you could have left off the leaf.
I love this technique. It always looks so colorful. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Thanks for the reminder for this technique, this card is fabulous 👌
Thanks for sharing your beautiful card in red. I loved it. 🇨🇦
I donate my scraps to a local elementary school. They never have enough craft supplies!
I never thought to use my scraps that way. Thx Natasha. Fabulous card!
Really gorgeous card with OR without the pretty flower! 2for1
