I did my hair transplant three years ago. I never took fini and min after hair transplant. Now, I also don't take any kind of medicine for hair. Alhamdulillah, my hair condition is becoming better day by day. My decision is that I shall never take finisteride and minoxidil because after a long time hair depends on them and the medicines don't work.
I feel glad for you bro. You must be blessed with your donor area. If your implanted hair doesn't fall, it means your donor area is very strong against DHT .
Bro always enjoy your content. I think your hair looks great, and I'm not sure about getting a third hair transplant. It can be risky, and you don't want to end up with a bald spot in the donor area.
First of all, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. All your questions and his answers are what I need now it would be the matter of time i will go and get that what i need including 5% off lol and plus one thing I'm happy for you is that you are a candidate for a future transplant, this is the best news and I always want you to get what you need because you have been helping us in every way almost two years, sharing your experiences with us and making our journey much easier and again thank you so much for everything Mr. Amit 🙏🏾

Amit- I feel that you should wait longer before doing another HT. Try other modalities including scalp massage, laser, various oils that may promote blood flow. I also agree with a second opinion from another clinic in or outside Turkey. I like the Vera consultant’s idea of mixing beard hair with scalp donor hair to make a more “natural” look if you do proceed. Finally- can you address O2 therapy done at Vera as a tool for enhancing graft survival after HT? Same for immersing donor hair or injecting scalp with stem cells AT THE TIME of HT.
yeahh i think i may do that. I'm not jumping at the oppurtunity to get it done again right away, but this was very insightful on what i could possibly do in the future. The plan is to try using scalp massagers, and maybe even laser, just to promote that blood flow. The plan is to get more opinions elsewhere, just for my own knowledge, and to see if i can get any natural growth coming from now on. As for the Stem cell and O2 therapy questions, I touched on that on the previous video with the doctor and he goes in depth about the two topics, check that video out!
Three things. You may change the way you style your crown area comb it back instead to the front. It has huge difference for your type of hair texture. 2nd you should wait a few more years for 3rd round and stay with your medical treatments. What will be the overall your 10K HT result after 5 or 7 years from today? 🤔You are still young mate and don’t rush to exhaust your donor. Third, try to get few more clinics opinions especially out of Turkey. You shouldn’t trap your self with the same doc and clinic. Unless you telling me you have a business deal with them to use your imagery. Since you have done lots of good videos when it comes to HT. I imagine how many people sign up with them or decided to go there based on your social media educational videos. Good Luck mate.cheers.
thanks for the suggestions!! 1. Usually i do comb my hair in a way where the back isnt as exposed, so that works for me well. 2. I think you're right in maybe waiting a while before going for another so soon. Overall im happy with the 2 results, and I guess this was just to see what the doc would say. 3. And yeah i totally get that, my plan is to see other doctors and just get a different opinion. Turkey is great to start out with but i dont think i'll be committing a 3rd time there just yet haha
Your great videos convinced me to go to Vera and have my HT done. I just had it done on 11/25/24 (4,100 grafts) on my mid scalp to the crown. I’m on day 5 now of recovery, but my donor area and scalp are crazy itchy and feel like they’re on fire! Any recommendations? Vera told me no saline water for 2 weeks, only the Bepanthol. I just tried Aloe, not much help. Thank you Amit.
its tought but the best thing you can do is just try not touching the area at all. I didn tapply anything to my donor area for the first month and go through it, but it was increbily itchy as well. The best i did was rub the itchy spots with the palm of my fingers
Unfortunately the crown is known as the black hole for hair grafts. SMP would be a really good option for you, the only downside is that in natural light it would look amazing but in harsh lighting it looks almost invisible. I have a very similar crown to you and I've had 3 HT (1 hair line, the other 2 were crown + hairline) and it still isn't dense enough
Thank you for showing this. I have the exact same issue, and it's irritating. I was debating on SMP or a third hair transplant (one in Tijuana, Mexico, and one in Turkey ).
I would do it tbh with you... you've come this far. I'm in a similar position although my crown is closer to being perfect. I'm heading towards months 11 so it might actually get there but if it doesn't I'll probably a 3rd I'm currently I'm like 800 grafts away so it's frustrating. Ultimately it looks better so perhaps you'll never be fully content and thousands down.
Beard as donor area, interesting. I wonder, any other areas that could be used as a donor area. hehe. Seriously though. I have loved your videos and gotten so much from them through my 2 hair transplants in Turkey.
I also had 2 surgeries in Türkiye and was there for a 3rd consultation. But I have rejected the free surgery with 1200 grafts for my crown to spare my donor area and beard.
Thanks for sharing this! I'm curious what you would think of PRP for the crown, rather than a 3rd hair transplant? Curious to hear your thoughts! Appreciate your content :) This doctor seems very good
I spoke to the doctor about the effectiveness of PRP on the scalp in my previous video, but i dont know it would be the permanent solution im looking for. will still consider it though!
appreciate you following the journey! and yes i will for sure. I just got this consultation since I was already there, but definatly not the only place i'll be speaking to
hi Amit, Thank you for the initiative you took. 5200 just for the crown ...that sounds unbelievably a lot ... You tried a consultation with another clinic ? I recommend you that ! and what about combining it with stem cell therapy ? Any idea ?
i'll end up trying to get consultations elsewhere too, i wanna hear more opinions! im not 100% convinced of stem cell therapy yet as i dont think it will do much for my crown
I think you should go for a 3rd but get another opinion. I think 700 to 1000 would be enough to get you the density you want. It does not need to be exactly the denisty of the middle or front. All you need is the illusion to blend. Maybe mix 200 to 500 of beard and another 400 to 500 of donor area. That would give you enough density. 2500 is way too much. I would go for a 3rd definitely if it was me but I wouldnt do 2500 to 3k grafts. No way. Overkill.
It looks fantastic either way but 💯 u should do a beard / scalp 3rd procedure to finish the look u won’t regret it u wouldn’t have to shave yur whole head I have friend that did 1000 beard to his crown and I swear the hair appears mimic the scalp hair it looks really good
I just got mines done yesterday at Wimpole Clinic on Harley St London. They were expensive, £7000. for 2500 hairs, but the fact they were close and I have a liason I contact daily and have to send close photos to see how its going and tell me what to do, is worth it. I go back in 6 months for a check up also. Transplant Day: What a day. They gave me diazapam and other drug to relax me. Then they started with the freezing needles and yes I cried out each one. Just gritted and cried. Then the got the planting site ready with holes and then harvested the back of my hairs, sorted them in a dish under a microscope. Then i ate a sandwich, was feeling a bit dizzy from the drugs. Then they got to work planting the hair in its new homes. The planting took about 5hrs. No break. So was 8pm when finished. They got me a great deal on a close hotel in London, as I was in no shape to get on a train. I made my pillow bed and used a rolled up towel in palce of my neck travel pillow. Was sick in toilet about 3am. I dont do well with drugs. Then got about 3 hours sleep I think. Some toast and tea for breakfast, then a taxi all the way home to Brighton. Slept about 6 hrs . Then into my daily routine of spray with saline on the hour the whole head. This is done to speed up the healing process, which makes sense, They have put a big bandage over my donor site, which was taken off this morning, and for next few day, I will take anti swelling meds and spraying head every hour until bed. Tommorow is my first wash day. Whole head is what you thing it would look like. Forehead slightly swollen and black scabs all over head. I feel much better now the drugs out of my system. I have not taken pain killers they gave me as no pain yet. Yesterday it felt like a very tight hat on my head, and thats the freezing fluids. Today thats gone, but slight itching comming through. I have been adivsed to take antihistamines. Just remmbering not to bend over or ever touch my head or do anyting to break a sweat. No salty food for 3 days or spicy food for 3 days. And wearing button up shirts only. It was a heavy duty day, but its over and I cant wait to see it start growing in around the 4 month mark.
congrats on getting yours done! I know the process is tough but now that you have got it done, it'll only get better. i hope the recovery process will go well for you!
i had a transplant with Vera and i'm extremely happy with it But this here just baffles me... the fact he says you need another 2500 grafts after already having 3500 is madness. I've seen crowns be covered with way way less. This just shows that they are good with the top of the head but when it comes to the crown they are extremely limited because 5/6000 grafts just for a crown is ridiculous.
yeah i know what you mean, i went in with the mindset thinking maybe it would be a few hundred more, closest to 1000 more, but yeah 2.5k more seems excessive to me, especially after doing it twice! But yeah, what i've learned throughout this process is that the top of the scalp definately grows out more and better compared to the crown
@ i'm in the same boat as you where i need to get some work on my crown but i'm probably limited to around 2000 grafts which should be plenty but i worried that Vera just won't have the skill to do it. everything about vera in my transplant was amazing and i really want to use them again but i just think they really don't know how to cover the crown. I've seen areas like yours now where 1500 have given amazing coverage.
I'm going to Vera Clinic the end of January. On the way back I have a 14hr lay over at schiphol airport in amsterdam. Has anyone stayed over night in one of those sleep pods at the airport? I'm thinking about booking one.
Whats is crazy is that for 10k grafts with top notch surgeon in the World u should have a full coverage turkey clinique are just looking for amount of grafts and not for maximise survival rate with good harvesting technique u should look for surgeon name and not for clinique name please Check some results of surgeon like pitella , Juan couto, or mawamba ànd u will be mad to see results they can achieve with 10k grafts price will be higher off course but ..
Hi Amit, is alcohol consumption 10 days after surgery (hair transplant) allowed...? I've been using alcohol for z whole post surgery period except for z 1st 10 days. I doubt if consuming alchohol during post surgery period (except for z 1st those 10 days) affected z growth process of new hair follicles & made me feel desperate to undergo z 2nd round surgery.
It looks good, don't take anymore from your donor area, you don't know how it will look, a lot of people have thinning hair at the back at your age, that's what makes it look natural, as long as it's not totally bold and you might need them in the future too
I can attest that the lightening in that Dr’s room is extremely harsh. I think you look good. A normal person would look at you as having a full head of hair without a second thought.
Hello! I did my hair transplant too In June 05 2024 but right now It has been growing not enough (it looks thin) and Im not happy with that I’d like to ask some questions Pls can you tell me ! How to improve To get more hair and keep hair growing, Thx
Dw man, I went May 06 this year so I'm a month ahead, it will thicken. Mine is still patchy and thin in harsh light but it can take up to 18 months to properly mature and grow in
One question I would’ve had for the doctor is if he pulled out 2000 to 2500 grafts, how much would you have left in the bank? If any should you require touchups in other areas as hair loss is progressive even with medical therapy?
He said i would still be ok as long as I keep my sides and back out long. As for touch ups, that is not needed as i did a touch up the last time i went for my 2nd transplant
Hello Amit, thanks for ur videos. I had hair transplant 6 months ago, but i'm not satisfied with z result & plan to have 2nd round surgery. Let me ask u sth. Have u been taking finastride or minoxidil or extra supplements during z whole period of post hair transplant? Is it helpful & has no contradictions or side effects taking them...? I had surgery here in, East Africa, Ethiopia. Turkish hair transplant professionals are coming to Ethiopia abundantly nowadays, opening a number of hair transplant clinics here in z capital Addis Ababa. Pls consult me. I don't want to make another mistake this time, & want to have best result if i've to combine surgery and medications ( taking minoxidil + finastride + supplements) to see best result. I'll have my 2nd hair transplant within next 15 days, around mid December. As i said earlier, did z doctor say z combination (hair transplant with minoxidil, finastride & biotin supplements+etc) work better...? If so, how can i get them or u send me the above medications to Ethiopia, Addis Ababa...? Pls help me with those questions. Thanks
Hey man, yes i have been taking fin, min & extra supplements throughout my entire hair transplant process. I have not experienced any side effects from them. But yes what your doctor is reommending is good. I have links to all the products i recommend in the description box, most of them ship internationally.
If I was to do a 3rd ht I wouldn’t do vera or even turkey in general. They specialize in mega sessions and I’d be worried about over harvesting. I would rather go to a high skilled doctor like in bogota Colombia or spain
fair enough! i initally went because of the price, and got a decent result. Now im at stage where I may seek advise in the US or UK with more skilled docs
This Turkish HT mafia will always make sure you need to come back. If they could have taken 2k more grafts without the donor area looking too thin why not do it? Now you pay again
Great video as always. The doctor or you never explained why the blood circulation is lower on the crown area and what can be done to enhance it? What are some of the ways to make a graft rate successful after or even before a HT? Is this purely genetic or is there ways to help the implanted grafts to reach its full potential rather than say 80% survival rate for the crown as the doctor explains? It's weird, I've seen some cases of Dr Gary Linkov from the US and his crown work on patients is amazing with about 1800-2000 grafts he almost completely covers a crown area. This is very sketchy. Turkey seems better at hairlines but the US better at crowns to be honest. I don't know why you need over 5K+ grafts to have a full density on your crown when I've seen other doctors do with less. Interesting. Lastly I think you should wait for the 2 year mark as you mentioned in the video, and as I've said before look into using beard, or even pubic hairs for density. I know Dr Bisanga from Belgium specializes in body hair if you ever want to go that route as a last resort, I don't know if Vera Clinic does that but just a tip for future references.
thanks man. so he did explain off camera (which i completely forgot to include as well in the video), but generally the crown doesnt not have enough blood circulation to cover the crown completely, and usually it takes at least 2 transplannts to get the coverage that would make it seem dense. In reality, if you're already that far gone at the crown, its very rare you'll get a result as thick as what the hairline and midscalp are, hence at the beginning of the transplant the surgeons usually set your expectation on what you actually can achieve for the crown so as to not assume it will be 100% covered. What he said that can be done is to continue finasteride & minoxidil, and try other methods to help increase blood circulation like using a scalp massager, or laser therapy. Genetics only plays a part to your native hairs, it doesnt affect the transplanted ones. And yeah Dr Gary is great, i watch his videos all the time and i've seen results from his patients too, but he recenetly posted a video about the crown and you can see that not every has a 100% great result, there are still some spots that are slightly thinning. So who knows. Honestly after these 2 experiences, and the amoutn of support shown from you and everyone else, im pretty happy. I'll still try my best to see if i can get any growth there though just to see if its possible!
@@amitposthair I see, so it's due to lack of blood circulation. But do we know why the blood circulation is so poor in that very area, meaning the crown? Is there an explanation for it? For instance, Dr Gary Linkov said that there is no difference between the hairline and the crown area for the hairs to grow, he said, they're part of the same cycle so both will take up to 12 months, he totally disses this notion about the crown can take up to 18 months to gain its full results which kinda makes sense because all the hair is taken from the donor area, why would it be so much of a difference let alone 6 more months for the crown when the crown is closer to the donor than the hairline. There seems different opinions on this. We love your videos man, I really appreciate them, looking forward to them every single time.

they do not! well at least for me they didnt. Mainly only the transplanted areas are only affected

god blessed me with amazing donor hair, just not actual hair on the top -_-
Whats is crazy is that for 10k grafts with top notch surgeon in the World u should have a full coverage turkey clinique are just looking for amount of grafts and not for maximise survival rate with good harvesting technique u should look for surgeon name and not for clinique name please Check some results of surgeon like pitella , Juan couto, or mawamba ànd u will be mad to see results they can achieve with 10k grafts price will be higher off course but ..
@@amitposthair it’s a double edge sword.
Hi Amit, is alcohol consumption 10 days after surgery (hair transplant) allowed...?
I've been using alcohol for z whole post surgery period except for z 1st 10 days.
I doubt if consuming alchohol during post surgery period (except for z 1st those 10 days) affected z growth process of new hair follicles & made me feel desperate to undergo z 2nd round surgery.
its allowed! try to consume less as it slows down the recovery phase, but after 10 days you should be able to have a drink over the weekend
It looks good, don't take anymore from your donor area, you don't know how it will look, a lot of people have thinning hair at the back at your age, that's what makes it look natural, as long as it's not totally bold and you might need them in the future too
The crown area is more DHT sensitive.
it is!!
I can attest that the lightening in that Dr’s room is extremely harsh. I think you look good. A normal person would look at you as having a full head of hair without a second thought.
LOL thanks for validating me that way. I was pretty sure my scalp did not look that empty, but yeah that lighting in the room is suuuper bright!
Hello! I did my hair transplant too
In June 05 2024 but right now
It has been growing not enough (it looks thin) and Im not happy with that
I’d like to ask some questions
Pls can you tell me ! How to improve
To get more hair and keep hair growing, Thx
try using minoxidil and being on finasteride! and taking biotin supplements, that usually helps overall. All are linked in the video description
Don't do another hair transplant. This looks incredible fine.
I have links to all the products i recommend in the description box, most of them ship internationally.
having been through a transplant (im 6 month post op now), the idea of going through shaving head, and ugly duckling again is very offputting...
yeah its not the best, but it'll only get better from there!
Me personallly I would do it. The style now a days is to have a thin back and side and a fuller top anyways
yeaah i mean im also at an age where this looks most natural for me!
This Turkish HT mafia will always make sure you need to come back. If they could have taken 2k more grafts without the donor area looking too thin why not do it? Now you pay again
This clinic is a money pit. Take minoxidil + finasteride but ORAL to get more density on your vertex.
Don’t do it. Go see doctor Zarev
I would wait until you’re older. You will lose hair. Don’t waste your donor hair so young.
I did the same crown hair transplant in the crown, in 3 months in and the pattern is the same as yours…….. I’m keeping my expectations low
yeah best to keep the expectations low as that's the only true way to be happy
