you actually flew right over my house in morongo valley yucca valley actually has 15,000 people living there now lol its absolutly incredible living in this area been here since 1974 and love it we have ranches all around us and alot of people here fly too !!!!!!!
Great conclusion to an absolutely picturesque flight. Enjoyed all the camera views and your commentary. Keep up these great videos. Until next time, safe flying and be well and stay safe.
Very nice flight! I flew into Bermuda Dunes back around 2004 to pick up a woman I’d met online and fly her up to Big Bear. That was the only time I saw her and the only time I saw Bermuda Dunes.
Last time I flew in was about 2001... I CAN'T BELIEVE THE CHANGE !!! The airport was in the middle of nowhere then...LOL ! Thanks for flying the plane ! Ron
Loved this Jerry. At 0:40 when you switched to the over the shoulder view I actually said "wow" out loud. Spectacular views. Loved the comments about the rockets as well!! Thanks. Andy.
I will soon be L1 High Power certified for model rockets. On of the guys I fly with is L2 certified and his rocket hit 18,000' last summer. It's a heavy, large rocket, and an airplane would not survive impact. Model rockets means many things :) My max is 1,500' and the cert flight will hit 5,400'.
Great video Jerry. First time and only time I went to Bermuda dunes my instructor and I couldn’t find the airport for 10 minutes until you’re right on top of it.
After that communication about the PRist, did you verify they were putting in the correct fuel? I usually monitor refueling to make sure they are using the right truck.
just to let you know they are not bottle rockets its where college grads go fire off rockets that are 10ft tall and 3 stages i fly in this area i live in yucca valley they are no joke great plane you have its eautiful also i love the yosemite area my brother lives by lake tahoe we fly there all the time with a friend of mine i met tiger woods at bermuda dunes airport all the golfers go there for the desert tournaments

Very good you two, enjoyable flight, could see the big mountain on final 28. Take care.

Been there a few times and yes not easy to spot the airport.
Been way to long since I been there.. early 90s.. Love the MCM architecture.
A photo flyby of Mt. Whitney west of lone pine on your return would be appreciated.
I'll put that on the list of places to go, I do have some old still photos of the area I might post
At 08:40, You're flying over my Airport [house] L00... didn't see or hear ya... 17,500 and prop/engine 1900/31mp...lol !
The airport is very close to Interstate 10 Freeway. You wouldn't expect the airport to be so close.
Nice avionics!
Another great video, well done, thanks!!
Cool tanks for sharing
I wonder if they’re heat seeking or radar guided rockets.
LOL that's LA Center for you! surprised you didn't get diverted for Jetpack guy as well!!
I heard that the JetPack guy was actually a Drone to look like a jetpack
My neighbor shoots model rockets 🚀 in Lucerne. He showed me one and they’re 8 feet tall - definitely want to avoid them

My Mom has a house for sale at Heritage Palms right on the Golf Course. Luv it because Bermuda Dunes is only 5 minutes away.
What a terrifying place to fly!
Absolutely no where to land in an emergency.
Single engine max altitude 13,000 feet with terrain much higher.
Thanks for ride along say hi to mike Da’vid-mike mike mike
Your horizontal l rocket VS vertical rocket
