    Good work !
    I gave up tobacco more than 15 yrs ago, I cannot believe that I was ever addicted to a leaf??? Just keep counting your days and don't look back. I ate a ton of red hot candy for a month or two, but I am done with the tobacco forever ! You can do it !!!

    Just found your channel and REALLY enjoying your videos. I love to fish for all the same fish you go out for so I’m learning a lot from your videos. I also took your pole design and built one of my own. Thanks for all the content!

    Really good instruction. Thanks. Noise reject to high. Not something I've been doing. I like the approach. Use gain to bring back your picture. Can't wait to try that.

    Loved the video crappie is my favorite fish to fish for. Now as far as the non smoker welcome to the club I’ve been smoke free for 25 years now my doctor told me if I didn’t quit I would have severe complications by the time I was 50. I was smoking 3 packs a day maybe even more when I quit. I’m 65 now and the doctor says my lungs real good now. Stick with it it’s hard at first but it will get easier 👍on the video

    If you guys are new here, keep in mind this video was filmed in early 2020 and these settings have somewhat changed now! With several new updates, the GAIN settings have changed significantly! There are also several other settings such as Ghost Tree Reject which are now available as well. Please subscribe and keep up to date with all of the newer videos!!

    Cool video. Makes me want to get Livescope but I rarely do that kind of fishing. Hope you're still smoke free or still trying. I smoked Cowboy Killers for 40 years and nothing worked for me to quit. Finally, I tried vaping and put the smokes down a year and a half ago. Now I'm slowly stepping the nicotine content of my vape liquid down and soon I'll be completely nicotine free. Not saying that vaping is better than smoking but it was a vehicle that got me to this point and I'm happy. I didn't know that Kansas had a fishery. Not a slam against Kansas, I just always associate it with dry, dusty plains and tornados. Kind of like the Wizard of Oz, haha. Anyway, best wishes for your Guide Service. Thanks!

      Coming up on one year smoke free in less than two weeks. I too took the vaping route, and I still feel much better than when I smoked cigs. I sure don’t miss it.

    Great video! It’s incredible clarity .. I’m about to replace a front graph on my Ranger with older Garmin echo map DV - and thinking about stepping up - seems a little bit like a video game - don’t want to loose the nature while staring at another screen

    I'm glad I'm not the only one that "Dicks" around when fishing, including almost breaking rods! Lol! No, you're the best Grant! Just makes a guy feel a little better about himself when he sees a Good Guide "Dicken" around everyone once in a while...Lol! I know this video was posted about 10 months ago, but hope you are still smoke free! Cheers, Bro and God Bless! P.S. I'm sure glad He doesn't Dick around, or we'd all be Feeling the Pain! Lol, but not really!

    I have seen other crappie fisherman won't move right over the fish unless they are 10 feet deep. You didn't have any trouble moving right over them. do you worry about spooking them? great video. I picked up some hyper glide. nice lure i hope the holdup better then the Rapala lures.

      Sometimes. I try and stay off the trolling motor as much as I can. Some spook, some don't.

  • @PureLivingForOutdoors
    @PureLivingForOutdoors 4 роки тому

    Your voltage is low. Does it always read like that? My 7616 GPSMAPS always reads a volt lower then my 93sv on console. And I’ve ran all separate wires Pos and Neg and tested it with a volt meter and the unit still reads a volt lower then the meter. Great video!

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  4 роки тому +1

      I had my livewell on constant because I was planning to release those fish, so yes it will run lower. It will usually be around 11.2. My batteries aren't the fanciest but I haven't had a dead start yet and it doesn't affect the graph's performance.

    • @PureLivingForOutdoors
      @PureLivingForOutdoors 4 роки тому

      Kansas Angling Experience yeah I run 2 batteries on mine and my 16” runs low like that and my 9” reads perfectly. Was just curious if yours did that also! I haven’t found a fix for it but it’s never affected the performance.

    • @jtharden1935
      @jtharden1935 4 роки тому +1

      @@PureLivingForOutdoors Mine seems to read like his on my 10" I have a new 31 series battery and seems like I am always running just below 11V

      JT Harden yeah it’s weird! I never have any issues but I wish it would read the true voltage! Lol

      Plastics are custom poured and not for sale. 2.5”. Jig is 3/8 oz.

    • @Rubo7
      @Rubo7 4 роки тому

      Kansas Angling Experience why do you use such a big jig head? Does it affect the crappie bitting it? I feel like it scares them. At least for me.?

    • @davidmcclurg7766
      @davidmcclurg7766 4 роки тому

      Do you always use that heavy of a jig

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  4 роки тому +1

      I want a heavy jig head to get the bait down to the fish as quick as possible. The fish don’t care how big it is.

    • @Rubo7
      @Rubo7 4 роки тому

      David McClurg also one more question I have is.
      Is your transducer below the trolling motor propeller. I know it's not on the trolling motor it's on the mount you made.
      The reason I'm asking is because I have mine about even with the prop. And whenever I'm going around 3 speed on trolling motor or higher the turbulence from the prop kinda blurries the image on the LS.

  • @kirkforck9472
    @kirkforck9472 4 роки тому

    Why does seem like you always have 10 volts? I know LS is high powered but does it really draw that much
