I’ve seen cube on Conan with Kevin hart driving around with a student driver. During it, Kevin gets excited starts talking gangster because he isn’t going to wear his seat belt (I get it, funny). Cube paused for a second and corrected the situation without embarrassing Kevin. He said that Tupac was the biggest G and he always wore it. The man has my respect for taking a moment to think about the impact he has and how his words influence young kids.

Idky some people get so mad at folks that use the term African American. Many people were taught that this was the appropriate phrase to use so as not to be offensive to black people. They are trying their best, in using this term, to be respectful.
I understand that times change and lessons are learned, but some people are having a very hard time in keeping up with the ever changing demands of the vocal minority. New terminology comes along every few months it seems like.
If you wish to educate people on what the current best practice is, there is a way to go about it that is compassionate and actually allows for the other person to accept what you're saying and embrace it.
Leading with anger and insults is not the way to go about it. It turns people off and makes you look hateful. Ice Cube said it himself in this very clip. Let's talk about it. Whether we agree or not, we can have the conversation.

My husband served 43 years in Cdn Military and the tattoo he got when he had to retire at 60 years is above his medals and says “ the more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war”. Truer words to none. I worked along side our Police as a Victim Services Worker and I have said on many occasions, “you are only as good as your leaders are”. Living in a suburb of San Diego, very conservative place at the time. We watched Boyz n the Hood. We saw and heard what we had been sheltered from our lives. We were entertained as well, showing my parents the movie Friday and they liking it. My mom buying the soundtrack. Never would’ve thought two conservative patents would be into music and movies I was into at the time would ever happen. You gave that to us. I saw you in concert, saw you at The Clash at three Coliseum a few years back. My mom was dancing with the thousands of people in the stands.
