Seoul Walk in Namdaemun Market Street Food and Shopping Area | 🇰🇷 Guided Map Walking Tour

Today, we're going to take a walk through Namdaemun Market 남대문시장 in Seoul. Namdaemun Market is a famous traditional outdoor market in Seoul that specializes in selling goods a variety of goods at an affordable price. Along with its wholesale market, there are also food stalls and streets food corners for tourists and locals to enjoy.
Compared to Myeongdong Street Food Night Market, which is more for tourists than locals, the food stalls here at Namdaemun have more of the local's favorites at a much more affordable price. I was recently shocked when I saw bungeoppang (붕어빵; "carp bread") at Myeongdong selling for 2 for 3,000 won. Here at Namdaemun, they are 2 for 1,000 won, so they are 3x cheaper. While Myeongdong market is much bigger and more variety, Namdaemun has the essential basic Korean street food that all Koreans love.

This is a nice video. I miss walking around Korea. I hope to do some exploring in the near future. I did a lot of exploring in the mid to late 80's. There was no internet to make videos and you could walk the whole day sometimes without seeing any other foreigners.

Thank you for the feedback. In newer mapped walks, I've moved the map to the right hand corner after hearing other feedback. I've also been uploading two versions of the walks - one without the map for general viewers, and then one with a map for members who want to view it.
