Hi Paul... I always enjoy your videos and this is another good one. So nice to see something on the complex that is not based on Swan or Kingfisher. I am really excited for the next few months and intend to get a few sessions under my belt and really liked your explanation of the stock in Mallard. As you say, every time the buzzer goes it could be anything from a 5lb to a 50lb fish ! Sorry to hear about your mum passing away and I am sure she is looking down feeling very proud of her boy! Hi Kevin really appreciate your condolences ❤❤ and yes I think it sums up the fishing in mallard very well I'd defo have no problems just fishing there for the next few years a really great water and definitely gives you the drive and leg wobbles, I don't really know anyone that's fished it that's not said the same thing the only negative I can say which some people moan about is the amount of weed but it really dont bother me I love weed fishing very exciting 😁😁😁 cheers my friend

Really sorry to hear your news on your mum fella. Don't be sorry for the breaks between your vlogs. Sure we all understand that even though the fishing has helped you, its not easy to talk to a camera as well during this time. You have a lovely way in presenting your sessions, and you should be proud of your achievements doing them. Which I am sure your family and Mum would appreciate.

Cheers my friend 👍👍👍 I use the ridge monkey head torch it really is worth the money top bit of kit, no messing about with batteries etc its rechargeable and last forever I've not run it out on a session yet and has plenty of options red green normal and the beam settings, 👍👍👍👍

Why do you fish so far from your rods
It's not intended I'd rather be next to them but you have to be comfortable in the swim that is what Dictates where you put the bivvy etc
Is that flurocarbon your using?
Hi Dan no its mono if your interested in the line it's not known to carp anglers and it's the best casting/all round line I've used to date. If you watch my st John's and B1 upload I talk about the line in detail, the line is known for spinning/bass fishing

@@danielspencer9851 yes mate I actually Prefer flurocarbon to mono but fluro is not good for casting distances, but fluro is much better for everything else Obviously it sinks better than mono and has a lot less stretch then mono Which makes it better for feeling the lead down and it's much more abrasion resistant than mono and for me the fact its almost invisible in the water is mega, however the mono I use is the next best thing also invisible

Wise words Gaz and I'm very lucky to have a great family around me that's really helped, its definitely brought us all closer together and changed my perspective that's for sure. It's a hard time but my children really are pulling me through it, thanks for your condolences really appreciated 👍👍
