I always found humor in some of these records. "I got the world's fastest stock bottom end, H pattern shift, all glass with three rust holes in the right rear quarter". I broke my own record six times.
Bro for real! On the opposite side of it the simplicity of some records, fastest land speed, fastest flight. Like was he in a Honda? Fastest land speed in a what? Was it h pattern? 🤣
Im personally more of a fan of the worlds fastest stock windshield wipers
Basically the same idea as most people selling Corvettes: oh its a one of one car cause of this engine didn't come with the that dash with that type of stitching and roof liner colour
Hahaha hahaha
It Cracks me up everytime
Cleetus is such a solid guy. Good for his team.
1320 puts together the best videos...
Those 200mph+ fly by's are SICK..
For real, they need some cameras down track to catch the flybys more often.
Leroy shows us time and time again, it doesn't matter how you start, it's how you finish
It's like Cleetus said in his last video, every car has it's day👍🏽🤘🏽🎉
Thats what she said!
Everyone is doin 200+ without blinking. What a time to be alive !! I love it
If yall don’t know now you know. The winner in Outlaw vs Extreme is Mark Benston Jr. (5.69) and he kicked everyone ass while being the only drag radial car in the class . He is also the fastest drag radial car in the world. Straight out of Delaware
Thanks, he stood out for sure. Do you know what type of chassi it has, looks like original roof and quarters body?
@@chrisjay7736 I will have to reach out or ask some guys from the track that we all test at ..but they build everything in house.
He wasnt ths only radial car in the class maybe only pro275 car
@@chrisjay7736back half steel roof and quarters
Watching this video was SO much better than the live feed where we had to sit and wait for track cleanup about a hundred times as the Honda's were puking themselves with almost every run. Granted those little buggers are FAST!! But they seem to be pushing them too hard so they grenade a lot. Leroy really liked the change of slicks and Zack has the slipper clutch adjustments down now...he was leaving on everyone. Good show!
The Hondas ruined the event ! Always breaking and ruining the track
I am so happy! Cleetus got atleast one cars first place.
They should be forced to run a full diaper. A rule on engine changes might help also.
@@mrwilson7617pretty sure they do but a diaper only does so much when an engine grenades like that
Billet blocks arent that much in the grand scheme. Maybe demand billet blocks. Obly $7k for a billet k series block
I love the part with Garrett with the flag and the dude with the Rican flag. Beautiful sportsmanship. He really is one of the best “poster dudes” for the sport of drag racing. Came from nothing, has everything now and he did it with love in every aspect.
i like how you specify one flag but not the other.
He DEFINITELY did not come from nothing buddy he came from $ but I get what you’re saying! Props to him for what he’s done for the sport
kinda sucks you stopped covering Renegade vs Modified after cleet went out... we ended up losing in the finals, but would have been really cool to see your coverage of all the passes.
I was there this weekend. First time at the event and this track. The energy, the people, the cars; all of it is next level stuff. Nothing really prepares you for what it's like there. If you think it looks cool and fun on video, it's even better in person.
I agree I used to go to the US Nationals and it was incredible. Video of it didn't compare at all.
Been a spectator at import vs domestic since 2007. Its no other drag racing show like it on the planet.
Lies you weren't there. Lol jk
2nd year in the row for me.
Yeah i gotta get out there next year!! Prob going to rent a RV and go all 4-5 days
The fact that Pro-Mod guys are excited about beating Mullet shows how far an impact Cleetus has had. Next year Cleetus will have a car built for the proper class.
Let's also not forget that most of those promods would never be legal for Street use. Mullet is still technically a street car, and would be street legal and all 50 states if they put the headlights front clip back on.
@@chubbysumo2230well I wouldn’t say all 50 I think like half the states you have to smog test for which obviously that would never pass, but yea it’s a vin number elco vs tube chassis pro mods
@@michaelskinner2121 only three states do emissions testing, and given that the El Camino chassis from the 1980s, it likely would not have very stringent emissions testing requirements. Basically just a burn completion test, which means no unburnt fuel could be detected in the tailpipe. Given the modern computer on the car, that could very easily be achieved without any catalytic converter.
@@chubbysumo2230 is it really only 3 I grew up in VA and got stationed in cali so ig fate wants me to just hit them all
There wasn't a single Pro Mod in that class. You guys need to get of ol Cleeters dick. And who cares if he can drive on the street...
Fred, tell Kyle that your “Import specialist” needs an “official” 1320 red hoodie for interviews lol, gotta let the people know lol.
The 1800 hp vr6 has my vw heart throbbing ❤❤❤😍😍😍
What an awesome event. Congratulations Leroy. Sucked to see Fran lose the final in wild street.
guess fran better lose more weight
Gratulation an das gesamte HST Team 🏆🇦🇹
Just finished watching the video - awesome coverage guys. Thank you once again for all the work and fast turnaround of videos at all these events - please never stop! P.S - love the extra during the outro, I wonder how many people stayed until the end.
Glad you enjoyed it!
53:41 Georgie is BAAAAAKED! Hell yeah.
Thanks for the great coverage of arguably the best drag race event in the world. I watched it all on Flo but I look forward to your videos!
That 5.55 pass just wow. That had to have been a fun ride.
Why the delay on the scoreboard? Suspect.
There was a 5.54 pass and they didn't say anything
@@snowman2834 It was the miles per hour was the track record broken.
53:45 pretty cool to see Richard Rawlings hanging out with Cleetus
15:08 CONGRATS TO THE AUSTRIANS!
I don’t know if it’s the 1320 cameras or what but I’ve never seen Mullet move out like that 😂 hell yeah. Hopefully Garrett sticks a chassis under that thing
I’m sure the boys had it turned way up, probably would have been 240mph out the back of it stayed hooked up.
I know people give him shit about it but he really should go big tire on mullet or build a specific big tire car for these events
Thanks guys for the videos covering this event. Loved every second of it!
As an OG street racer, the last few decades have change in every way, street to track.
From prep to planning to making that run, the power increase and managing of that has been amazing.
The "ET:dollar" ratio today is pretty incredible
@@7275vrt We have secondary 60v electrical systems going into production cars now(for like 6 or 7 years at this point I think), which has enabled LEGITIMATE electric superchargers & electric turbochargers(they still have a turbine too), these have been showing up in production for a couple years now. I'm wondering if this eventually makes the leap to this sort of racing. There's also some real time active shocks(a version of Multimatic's spool valve shocks) that are running on this 60v standard too. Lots of trick stuff going on in the OEM world, I just wonder if it's really going to be able to catch on to any meaningful degree in [non-OEM level] racing. EFI took a long time to really catch on, so did turbocharging, adopting something like a secondary electrical system for HP making purposes is probably going to 'offend the sensibilities' of a LOT of hot rodders lol.
There's also the possibility of a purpose built hybrid(like a Tesla motor tied into a TH400 or something?) system being made for drag racing, stuff like that, but that'll take someone really committing a LOT of time and money without a guarantee of success or a market(and potentially struggling to find classes to race in, who knows how promoters would handle it). Nevermind how politics has someone become intertwined with literally vehicle propulsion systems... (no one thinks that "cordless power tools are for snowflakes" or anything, even though they're basically a miniature EV drivetrain lol, even a lot of the hardcore pneumatic guys have given up the fight, lithium power tools are so damn good)
There's a WHOOOOLE lot more potential with where technology is going - if people are willing to go against what's 'traditional' and 'politically correct'(for conservatives I guess; tired of both sides trying to dictate technology TBH...)
This is some intense racing! Excellent coverage 1320!
Love this type of daily coverage. Racing, quick car check-ins, and quick commentary between races to know what we’re watching.
Mullet facing those cars is wild
TBF, putting a literally Pro Mod big block & trans in a stock G-body chassis(116" El Camino wheelbase at that) with a stock style rear suspension and going racing is pretty wild lol, there just aren't many classes that sort of combo fits into
@@RyTrapp0 Seriously, steel body, stock frame, promod engine kinda wild
Yeah 4 cylinders are getting pretty wild.
@@RyTrapp0gotta respect him doing it though, he will make the changes over time but we all know he just wants to go as fast as he can with each setup. It’s gunna be a fun next couple of years for mullet
loved every single second!!Your coverage is THE perfect compliment to all my fav drivers videos!! i can't go to any tracks, so this is a window on these events!! being in a chair sucks, but i got 1320video !
I have to tell you I am A BIG fan of your coverage. I'm sure its a shit ton of work on your part, but it was GREAT!
38:04, without knowing him you already know he's on a TV show just by how he shit talks. If the other guys didn't spin it probably would've been a 5.55ish to his 5.80 whatever. What a man child😂😂😂😂
Great coverage of the finals Thank you 1320!
Me looking at the thumbnail: 👀
*Mustang doing Mustang things*
_was probably a crowd of people that direction_
Great coverage, really enjoyed it.
I've seen the 4wd Audi TT here in the UK, it's rapid.
Thank you for posting the footage!! What a great job yall did getting the right angles
Thanks so much for the coverage of this event!
love the live coverage, I was literally refreshing waiting for this video
Thank you Fred for the amazing coverage!
Coverage was awesome, thanks for what you guys do. It's awesome for those of us that can't make out to these events, really makes you feel like you were there. 🙏
Thanks, Fred & Whitty. You too, Kyle.
Great coverage! Thank you 1320!
FASTEST STICK SHIFT CORVETTE IN THE WORLD!!
Thank you Fred and crew for thorough, insightful and first hand coverage of this final, amazing event. Hope to see you guys every year! Chuck in NE Kansas
Love the energy of your import expert!! Very knowledgeable and funny as well
Holy hell that Audi launches so hard
That Tt going 6.80 with a vr6 is fucking insane.
Yes I am really happy someone is finally showing how capable is the vr6 platform.
@@godlyname8544 is that your car?
Loved the whole series Fred. Congrats to our boy cletus.
Good job! Thanks for the coverage!!
amazing coverage! keep them coming. look forward to next year..
Best footage / commentary of the event , hands down . Props fred for all your hard work and coverage of ALL THE EVENTS you cover. Always GREAT CONTENT , VIDEOS, EDITING . 100% STILL ONTOP OF THE UA-cam GAME
Once again. the 1320 crew had the best coverage of the event. Great job 1320 crew.
Appreciate the daily uploads! It's a lot more work I'm sure, but the details / behind the scenes gives the viewer a chance to follow along with each day / next day's coverage.
Crazy footage... do it again 🔥🔥🔥
leroy is more a corvette than any promod tubular "corvette".
Thanks for the coverage.
Wow. The creek is my home track. Great track. I must say world cup does bring the most spectators out by far!
It’s crazy to see people in the comments have so much hate for Cleetus just because he has sponsors as if none of the other big dawgs who are racing have them.
Anyone who hates must be purely jealous. I’ve never seen him do anything but support the people around him and be very humble
Cars completely covered in stickers and people act like they're advertising for other companies just because they make good products.
1320 is the undisputed best race car channel broadcast ever, there videos are always top notch. 🚦🏎️🏎️🏎️🏆🔥🔥
Best neck an neck racing I’ve seen in a long time. Congrats Cletus 🇺🇸
World Cup was wild this year!! It's about time Leroy got his..
Excellent coverage you guys...as always!!! Keep it up!!!
Next to actually being there,Fred and the 1320 guys provide banging race coverage, candid interviews and behind the scenes info. Its like real grass roots racing, unlike the NHRA,kudos from a cool UK.
Absolutely one of the best years ever !!! Great video guys !
The coverage was excellent, car's were amazing, and most time's you could see the time board, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
thank you for the three day coverage.
Thanks for the footage Fred, sorry you're having a bad weekend lol. Thanks to the rest of the crew too obviously.
Yes thanks for being one of the first ones to get this video out! Much appreciated 🙌🏼
You guy where on point with coverage.
you guys kill it with the coverage every time. Thank you for the awesome vids
Thank you Fred you done a damn good job love you guys
Thank You to all of the 1320 Crew!!! I wish I could have made there this year, the Racing was World Class & so was the 1320's Coverge !!
LIve coverage is where it's at, please keep doing it!
All racing, all the time... Good channel.
Awesome, and thanks for narrating.
Great coverage of the entire event!
All the cars in the Cleeuts camp. We're falling out one by one but Leroy A true champion gets it done.
" I don't know what happened, I blacked out".
Cleetus McForce. LOL
Congrats on the w
Good coverage, very enjoyable, keep it up.
Fred love your work dude. Love how people thrashing on cars to make it to the next race still stop for a second and give you the time of day. 1320 Video, We don't get this amount of drag racing craziness in Australia, been watching for so long. Keep it coming, guys.
Love the live coverage!
Thanks man for all you share with us that was awesome you the man . Late.
Great video my man! Feels like I got the full experience if that’s even possible.
Thanks, Fred, day by day blow-by-blow, it's on brother!!
great coverage guys
After qualifying, if someone had told me that it WOULDN'T be Jonathan Atkins (Grubworm) vs Nick (black S10) in the finals, I wouldn't have believed them. Congrats to Cleets. It was a hard fought win for old LeRoy.
No doubt, and he didn't even have to get a 6 to do it!
what happen to them they broke? i didn't see who knocked them out?
Brett and the Real Street guys have that Mustang dialed. I believe he was .4 slower last year but don’t quote me on that. Congrats to Brett and Cleet.
Oh yeah that mustang is very dialed, they've certainly know what they're doing with the s197 chassis
Fantastic job 👍
That looks like an epic race! It is now on my bucket list to attend.
Fred! The most famous beard 🧔♂️ in drag racing! Thank you, 1320, for yet another amazing video of race coverage. Always appreciated. 🤙🏼😈🤙🏼
Most famous beard in drag racing haha😂😅
Yessierrr another day another video from 1320 💪
Thank for the awesome video 1320 Crew BABY
Awesome Job Guys, Pleasure Watching All The Way From South Africa, Keep Up The Good Work!!!😎
There was some damn good races. Please do it again.
1:19 sonic203?😂😂
Remember running TnT friday at MIR on their 1st world cup back in the 90s. Happy it's evolved into such a nationwide staple event. It's a fast track, fun crowd, fun grudges, everyone just having fun...in the middle of nowhere (90min outside DC) and as long as no one breaks on the track you get a lot of track time.
How does an El Camino get stuck in a class with a bunch of Pro Mods with big tires?!
Promoters dont want lower classes being filled with billet big blocks, so they get bumped up for that, while at the same time being heavy as hell so they cant keep pace. Doesnt help the subset of rules they entered under only lets them run 315s. At the end of the day, a heavy street car with a huge engine is too lopsided to really fit in any class well
Damn nice clips when we see the cars coming towards and passing the finch line, more of that. 😁😁😁
These cars are so fadt now, i remember just a couple years ago we hardly saw a 5 and 6 were not very common they happened but not like this. That class james was in with mcflurry was basically all 6 sec cars. Pretty crazy to see such a jump in little time
Best event I’ve ever been to I no longer have a voice after yelling for cleetus all yesterday got to meet Scott and Fred and the whole McFarland racing team the videos do not do justice GET HERE NEXT YEAR
Good coverage congrats cleetus Leroy working good
I’m missing the swedes. 🇸🇪
Those guys are awesome.
