    Very good information. 👍
    I myself use non lead pewter from various candles, cups ect.
    I find it’s the cheapest way for making stannous, but also for when smelting tin and copper for making bronze.
    Pewter items I find in second hand stores 👍

    Hello AK
    I was surprised (sadly) when I couldn't find a lot of your videos about gold refining
    I was interested in the tin removal recipe
    you still remember the proportions ?

      The whole process is in my head. Next month I will make a video on this topic again. For the time being, I don't have enough material for refining 🙂

    Hi AK.
    Quick question what do you do with all of your stannous tests? Are they worth saving and trying to extract any precious metals from?
    Thank you! I love your channel!!!!

    How we can prevent it from oxidation ?

    • @akgoldbear7669
      @akgoldbear7669  2 роки тому

      Does it oxidize? I have stannous chloride which I makes 6 months ago and i do not have any problems. Don't make a lot of stannous chloride. 15-20 milliliters will be enough for long time, because one drop of stannous chloride is usually used to test the solution 🙂

  • @เด็กบ้านนอก-ด6ฐ

    How is the tin chloride powder solution?

    • @akgoldbear7669
      @akgoldbear7669  Рік тому +1

      Hello. Tin chloride dissolves in an alkali solution and in concentrated hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid must be heated to 95-100 degrees. After dissolving the chloride you need to drain dirty solution without diluting with water, otherwise the chloride will instantly form again 😉

      @@akgoldbear7669 thanks. How is the ratio stannous chloride powder and hydrochloric acid.
      Becaus now I got stannous chloride powder (tin II).

    • @akgoldbear7669
      @akgoldbear7669  Рік тому

      Don't know. I adding hydrochloric acid, heat it almost to a boil (the solution will be very dark) and if something is not dissolved, drain the solution and add hydrochloric acid again.

    How do I test if there is no gold chloride?

    • @akgoldbear7669
      @akgoldbear7669  Рік тому

      Sorry I didn't understand your question. You can only test your stannous chloride if the solution contains gold 🙂
