  • SITECH Intermountain video training series: Siteworks Surface Offsets Checking Grade
In this video, we will show you how to check the grade of a siteworks surface offset. This is an important step in ensuring that your site is properly graded and that your drainage is working correctly.
To check the grade, you will need a level and a stake. First, place the level on the ground at the point where you want to check the grade. Then, drive the stake into the ground at the same level as the level. Next, use the level to measure the distance from the stake to the ground at various points along the offset. If the distance is the same at all points, then the grade is correct. If the distance is not the same at all points, then the grade is incorrect and you will need to adjust it.
Checking the grade of a siteworks surface offset is an important step in ensuring that your site is properly graded and that your drainage is working correctly. By following the steps in this video, you can easily check the grade of your site and make sure that it is correct.

oh thanks. I assume you are talking about the file on the screen being very clean? If you are, talk to who is making your models and ask them to only give you the line work that you want to see. Some model builders send out all kinds of lines like contours and grid lines, etc. Just ask for what you want to see on the screen and it can be cleaner.
