We are known for lobsters, but Maine is actually the “Pine Tree State.” Also known as “Vacationland.” This course is literally on the side of the mountain - “Sugarloaf Mountain is a ski mountain located in Carrabassett Valley. It is the third highest peak in the state, after Mount Katahdin's Baxter and Hamlin peaks. Sugarloaf is flanked to the south by Spaulding Mountain. The northeast and west sides of Sugarloaf drain into the South Branch of the Carrabassett River, which flows into the Kennebec River, and into the Gulf of Maine.”
Love sugarloaf. 3rd best course in the state. Wish you guys would come back and play Belgrade or Boothbay. Still love the pic. Course is 10/10 difficult.
Man I clicked on the video hoping you played while the leaves had turned. Maine is so beautiful during that time it's unbelievable.
Pretty much a picture perfect example of Maine's weather this summer. I can't help but think that Madjack lower score was based off his play. Also you guys missed out on playing Belgrade Lakes. One of Maine's best courses.
Looks like Cole got a 7, not 6 on hole 14. OB drive, drop 2, punch 3. 4th shot to fringe. 5th shot chip past the hole almost hitting the flag laying on the green. 6th stroke was a putt that missed. Tap in 7.
