Originally, Nomura planned on combining Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. He, unfortunately, couldn't fulfill his goal after being pulled off of the team for Final Fantasy XV; however, perhaps remnants of this plan can be found in a particular easter egg, in which Prompto mentions a game about a hero with a key that can open any lock upon being confronted with an impassable door that looked unlike any other in their world. This is mere speculation, but I believe Verum Rex is his attempt to replace the ties to that work which he has lost. In that case, I admire his determination to keep at a puzzle even if not all of the pieces are available. He just decides to make more to fill the gaps. Nomura, you sly fox.

This proves Yozora is a good character. In both endings he tries to help Sora. But only at the right time. The bad ending suggests he crystallises Sora to save him from whatever fate could bestow on him /alas FF13. The good ending suggests it isn't quite time yet. The good ending also reveals what I believe to be Luxord. But... how? His comment also may have double meaning. "Impressive, isn't it" implies he's talking about the city OR he's talking about Sora and his power, hence why it only occurs when Sora defeats Yozora. Edited: added paragraph

Hey remember the good old days when people were smart enough to figure out obvious story points and didn't need it spelled out for them or when people were actually paitent for the next game. Cause I sure do, I mean seriously I love the remind dlc and the explanations for things like Xion I enjoyed too, but here's the thing I already FIGURED OUT she was a replica made from Vexen. I was able to piece it together fine in the original scene. People are constantly acting like it's so hard to figure things out, but the game does do a good job at explaining it's plot points without losing me. I don't need the answers spoonfed to me. When the original scene happened for me the first time, I put it together that oh Vexen's on Sora's side meaning they have access to the replicas and that's how Roxas, Xion, and Namine will get there own bodies. Thus I didn't need further explanation for how Xion was there, the additional scenes for it are great the context is nice. But was it really that hard to use an ounce of thinking to put that together for people?

They were part of a shared mythology (not universe), alongside FF type-0 but each director would interpret that mythos in their own way. It was called Fabula Nova Crystallis: FF13. That confused many people and they dropped the "13" of the name.

Type 0 was originally Agito XIII and also originally a prequel to XIII. Versus XIII was also planned to be set in the same world at a differ point in time as well. Both of those games were announced alongside XIII. They got delayed, development and writing diverged, and none of that ended up happening, so we got Type-0 and XV instead. The whole point of the Fabula Nova Crystalis thing was to have a shared cosmology. This was explicitly stated from the get go as the intent behind the project when it was first announced.

They didnt consult with each other and see how it all fits in a single universe. Maybe a multiverse but that's it. They would use things like Lcie and Falcie and the goddess etro, but that's all they would be connected to. They dont share a history location or even timeline.
I’d love to believe the Nameless star was Stella from Versus XIII now considering she talked about how her existence was erased by a somebody which would be true since she was a cut character from XV by the devs and her heart replaced with another which would’ve been Luna and how the person looking for her is essentially not the same person either since the Noctis we knew from that game never turned out to be Versus Noctis and how the secret ending for this basically confirms the theory of him being that character from what feels like an alternate timeline. What if we see Yozora in quadratum in Kingdom hearts 4 and he looks more realistic like how Sora looks realistic in the Kingdom hearts 4 trailer. Which is why he says "this isn't how I look" and he knows who Sora is but when he's looking at Sora here he looks different than how he looks in Kingdom hearts 4. It took 5 years and only cause they changed engines they developed the characters and at least 4 have their own playable moveset so it wont take so long for maybe a kairi story or a riku one.

In the final mix version of the game, Shinjuku is shown to be destroyed and in the secret ending of KH3 shibuya and shinjuku are featured. I'm thinking if TWEWY 2 is declared Yozora is gonna make an appearance, he's gonna participate in the reaper game in shinjuku and shibuya, and he's gonna learn about Sora from Neku. The reason he says that isn't what he really looks like is because his appearance was his wager to enter the game like a certain other character. Finally confirming the Nomura verse.
Assuming that this theory is even true, I’m more partial to this tying into TWEWY rather than Versus. But this means that Yozora would be strong as hell for the Reapers Game. Too strong even. So I get the feeling that unless he had different powers or the trials granted him the abilities he can do now, he’s probably not from the same world as TWEWY. It would also barge in on Neku’s importance. To quote a specific line: “the Game literally can’t start without Neku.”

My theory is that Versus Noct died (technically his concept did) and was put in the reaper games. That's why he looks like yozora, his appearance was his entry fee, like shiki's. You read between to lines to come to the conclusion aka there is no evidence unlike the nameless star being also named sora, which is also not concrete but has evidence.

Yes. They're playing the Reaper's Game and killing each other will grant you a ticket out to the Final World where you can return to where you came from. But my guess is that Yozora losing is canon and he makes an oath to return (Versus XIII)
It’s a little funny to me that Yozora chooses to fight Sora because of his name. Like, I know Sora isn’t the most common name, but surely there can be multiple Soras. That’s like meeting someone named George and being like, “You’re George? Why? It doesn’t matter. I’ll save you.” Then you pull out a gun and try killing/saving him.

I have a Theory, This is the data world, and Yozora is using someone else's data as a vessel and used it to go to the datascape, While there he became a Player in the Reaper's game from TWEWY since it's Shibuya and the 104 building is still there, And he was given a Task to "Save Sora or Face erasure". I was talking with my friends who are huge TWEWY fans and we have a theory that Yozora May be a composer from Shinjuku I don’t know enough about TWEWY to really parse out how but they were drawing a lot of parallels between Joshua and Neku, and Sora and Yozora, as well as some cliff endings in TWEWY.
Love that sora's heart is on top of the 104 building. I know it didn't happen but really wanted Joshua to appear and say "This is my GAME" Then turn god mode and make sora wake up on destiny island

Hey remember the good old days when people were smart enough to figure out obvious story points and didn't need it spelled out for them or when people were actually paitent for the next game. Cause I sure do, I mean seriously I love the remind dlc and the explanations for things like Xion I enjoyed too, but here's the thing I already FIGURED OUT she was a replica made from Vexen. I was able to piece it together fine in the original scene. People are constantly acting like it's so hard to figure things out, but the game does do a good job at explaining it's plot points without losing me. I don't need the answers spoonfed to me.
When the original scene happened for me the first time, I put it together that oh Vexen's on Sora's side meaning they have access to the replicas and that's how Roxas, Xion, and Namine will get there own bodies. Thus I didn't need further explanation for how Xion was there, the additional scenes for it are great the context is nice. But was it really that hard to use an ounce of thinking to put that together for people?
So the unknown star is confirmed to be Yzora's girl from Verum Rex!

Sora doesn't even get a chance to back out of this, not knowing what the heck is going on. Who wants Yozora to save Sora? Why does he need to fight Sora to accomplish that? Sora at the end before he readies his weapon is frustrated at the immediate change from talking it out to fighting it out without a reason why. He just ended up back in the Final World after using his Power of Waking to save Kairi not too long ago.

It was actually Versus XIII, and was meant to be part of the FF XIII universe, so chances of that happening are unlikely.

They were part of a shared mythology (not universe), alongside FF type-0 but each director would interpret that mythos in their own way.
It was called Fabula Nova Crystallis: FF13.

Type 0 was originally Agito XIII and also originally a prequel to XIII. Versus XIII was also planned to be set in the same world at a differ point in time as well. Both of those games were announced alongside XIII. They got delayed, development and writing diverged, and none of that ended up happening, so we got Type-0 and XV instead. The whole point of the Fabula Nova Crystalis thing was to have a shared cosmology. This was explicitly stated from the get go as the intent behind the project when it was first announced.
@@DolusVulpesLet me clarify, Each director INTERPRETTED the mythology completely differently. They were inspired by the same mythos but didnt share the exact same one. They didnt consult with each other and see how it all fits in a single universe. Maybe a multiverse but that's it.
They would use things like Lcie and Falcie and the goddess etro, but that's all they would be connected to. They dont share a history location or even timeline.
This means yozora will be in the next kingdom hearts due to this hidden fight
I’d love to believe the Nameless star was Stella from Versus XIII now considering she talked about how her existence was erased by a somebody which would be true since she was a cut character from XV by the devs and her heart replaced with another which would’ve been Luna and how the person looking for her is essentially not the same person either since the Noctis we knew from that game never turned out to be Versus Noctis and how the secret ending for this basically confirms the theory of him being that character from what feels like an alternate timeline. Seems like everything is tied together in very interesting way

So there's a rumor circulating that TWEWY 2 is in the works and is gonna be announced soon. In the final mix version of the game, Shinjuku is shown to be destroyed and in the secret ending of KH3 shibuya and shinjuku are featured. I'm thinking if TWEWY 2 is declared Yozora is gonna make an appearance, he's gonna participate in the reaper game in shinjuku and shibuya, and he's gonna learn about Sora from Neku. The reason he says that isn't what he really looks like is because his appearance was his wager to enter the game like a certain other character.
Finally confirming the Nomura verse.
Assuming that this theory is even true, I’m more partial to this tying into TWEWY rather than Versus. But this means that Yozora would be strong as hell for the Reapers Game. Too strong even. So I get the feeling that unless he had different powers or the trials granted him the abilities he can do now, he’s probably not from the same world as TWEWY. It would also barge in on Neku’s importance. To quote a specific line: “the Game literally can’t start without Neku.”
@@souloftherisingsun8274 You misunderstand. My theory is that Nomura is using TWEWY and KH as stepping stones leading to a Versus reboot. My theory is that Versus Noct died (technically his concept did) and was put in the reaper games. That's why he looks like yozora, his appearance was his entry fee, like shiki's. He'd most likely be either a secondary character or the superboss.

You read between to lines to come to the conclusion aka there is no evidence unlike the nameless star being also named sora, which is also not concrete but has evidence.

Then the whole thing with waking up in the car with Luxord as his driver after the whole thing while wondering what’s real or not just makes me question what’s going on. It’s a little funny to me that Yozora chooses to fight Sora because of his name. Like, I know Sora isn’t the most common name, but surely there can be multiple Soras. That’s like meeting someone named George and being like, “You’re George? Why? It doesn’t matter. I’ll save you.” Then you pull out a gun and try killing/saving him.

This is the data world, and Yozora is using someone else's data as a vessel and used it to go to the datascape, While there he became a Player in the Reaper's game from TWEWY since it's Shibuya and the 104 building is still there, And he was given a Task to "Save Sora or Face erasure". But we can't see the Timer on his hand because he is wearing gloves.
There are so many things I am still confused on:
1. Who is Yozora really?
2. How does he know about Sora?
3. Who was the one who told him to "Save Sora?"
4. When Yozora said "Why are you using Sora's Name?" does that mean there is a different version of Sora?

I was talking with my friends who are huge TWEWY fans and we have a theory that Yozora May be a composer from Shinjuku I don’t know enough about TWEWY to really parse out how but they were drawing a lot of parallels between Joshua and Neku, and Sora and Yozora, as well as some cliff endings in TWEWY.
Love that sora's heart is on top of the 104 building. I know it didn't happen but really wanted Joshua to appear and say "This is my GAME" Then turn god mode and make sora wake up on destiny island
