Yes That how we do our Siva slow movement it different from other islands.AND IT REALLY LOOKS GOOD OF THE WAY THEY SWING THERE HANDS AND THE BODY MOVEMENT....SO COOL ....I'M PROUD 👏 TO BE A SAMOAN.

Why are all Samoan dances very slow?
Depends on what song but this dance is beautiful to watch
Ok good you really want to know,,,,yes it just the way we move around and plus the story,,,,, thats what the actions are telling by the way they swing their hands,,,,,,, and the movement of the body all around,,,,, im proud of our Samoan Siva … it just the way we do our Dance.. Like i said before ,,,,we are the ones are different from the rest of islands… SIVA MAI SIVA MAI,,,,,TOFA SOIFUA …🙏🙏💞💞♥️♥️
It can be a little faster depending on the song, but the siva samoa is supposed to be smooth, elegant and gracious bc each action tells a story and expresses what the words of the song mean, thats why samoan dances have always been a little diff from other cultures bc we include slow movement, the way the hands swing and curl, and the way her legs bend, there are some actions where the girl gets low too, but besides the point, our dances are supposed to be slow.
