I'm always very impressed with your obvious confidence in tackling a job like this! Your vlog is very clear and concise with useful info popping up on screen at various stages of the install. The end result is absolutely stunning RM K. Well done.
Biker Paul thank you so much Paul for your kind words, yes always an interesting job but know as I’ve done so many installs, it’s like a walk in the park 😁👍
Peter, its the cool covers from the UK, works extremely well in warm to hot weather as I recently used in +33C, mate follow the link - www.coolcovers.co.uk/
Ben Cetri I use the HEX ezCAN for the Clearwater Lighting LED’s, the Denali SoundBomb and auxiliary plug for winter warming clothes, my strongest recommendation is wire the emblem LED’s into the 12V power supply and tap into the indicators directly. Now you can run the rear LED’s from the HEX but that will require maybe getting an auto electrician involved so I just wire both front and back LED’s directly into the CanBus wiring and have done so on more than 7 bikes without any issues 👍
Well, the reason i wanted my additional brake lights to be run from Hex is that i wanted to benefit the emergency and California brake light effect. if i connect straight to the bike i won't have that. What if i power them to Hex and add the lef-right signal from the bike ? Kind of hybrid ...
Ben Cetri that will definitely work, the reason I didn’t use the HEX was that I not only using the brake light but also the indicators and the LED’s which are continually on when the ignition is on - if you only what the brake light / California emergency application the HEX will do that easily when you configure using your lap top 🤔🤓👍
