We elect or appoint leaders to fix issues relative to poverty, health, education, energy, sanitation, employment, economic growth, climate action, peace, security, justice and strong institutions as well as a sustained partnership for development. If leaders are not able to live up to this, they must just leave the scene and not hold on to power for things to get worse. You are managing a nation and it's not your bonfide property. A nation being built for the benefit of both present and future generations. But due to corruption, African leaders would rather die on the job than to resign because they know there's nothing at stake. They are keeping embezzled public funds abroad, their kids are having their education and all related stuff abroad, they receive medical attention abroad and a whole lot of other things. If we need to move Africa forward, we must love Africa, we must come together regardless of political, religious or socio - cultural affiliations, and develop our country. Integrity, Honesty, Discipline, PATRIOTISM and Professionalism is key to developing Africa.
