Wow. I was writing my previous comment & you started showing your Dads book that he has completed & it was truly amazing. He is going to love the 120 set of Albrecht Druher watercolour pencils as they are the best pencils wet or dry. I hope you give him a Kerby book as he even did a great job with the white posca. I have had a set of Albrecht Druher since I was 20 but I never activated them until I got the full 120 set in 2019. Because he travels ALOT you could introduce him to a 0 blender alcohol marker for easy activation. I do that all the time & I have never had a problem with any bleed through. Your Dad has done an amazing job, well done. Thank you for sharing his completed book I enjoyed it so so much. Much love & *Virtual hugs* xxx

Talent must run in your family, your Dad's coloring is fantastic! Especially that he hasn't watched any tutorials and he just started coloring. Amazing work, Dad! That is really wonderful that you share this hobby with your father. It is always difficult to pick just one page of yours, because they are ALL so stunning! I have to say the Mythographic, pink background page really popped, very beautiful. And yes, the Kerby page is excellent! That is a favorite page of mine in that book, so lovely to see you color it so beautiful! I also love your pages in the witches books. Those pages really pop, very well done! I am so impressed with your dad's coloring! He's done so well. I can't even finish an entire page. I get bored or I feel that I messed up the color scheme. But I think I'm gonna just finish no matter the outcome. Just so I can have finished pieces. But yeah so impressed with his coloring and dedication! 😊❤

Hi, you coloured lovely pages again. I especially loved the background of the mermaids book and the pink dragon. Your dad is an amazing colourist too, his style reminds me a bit of loose watercolour, very pretty.

My Amazon paper does that wrinkly thing too , I thought maybe it was because I do a lot of pencil layering 🤷♀️. I honestly don’t know how you get your inktense to work so beautifully on the Rita Berman paper !! I’ve not enjoyed them on her paper , I’ll give it another go ! I absolutely love your Hannah Karlzon wip it’s beautiful ❤! Xx

Hi Shel from across the pond, I'm new to channel, wanted to let you know how much I ❤ your coloring.
My mother had been coloring from the early 90's, she finally got me on board to color in 99-or-00. It was a hobby we shared (until her passing in 22)
Im sorry I digress having a loved one to share coloring with is fortunate.
Very impressed with what your father accomplished looks great for a new colorist👏.
One thing I wanted to mention I know how Albert Duers are a favorite for you, however if you've never tried the Stadler karat I believe you'd be quiet impressed. I also use Albert Duers, Pablos, Carand'Ache muesum aquarelle, Luminescence, Prisma, Holbein etc...and would still recommend the Stadler Karat, they color smooth & creamy like butter, and with water applied the way they take water is a dream. They are also under 100.00

Hmm I tend to use shades lighter than my pencils so my pencils show over the top. A highlight colour will be the lightest shade I want, in the marker. Hope this helps 🤗💗

Hi Shelly, gorgeous pages, quick question please, do you spray all your finished pictures with a fixative or only the ones with pastels on them?
Hello! Thank you!…yes I tend to spray all my pages whether it has soft pastels or not…as long as there pencil work on it 🤗💗

Hi Cindy, I would recommend spraying the soft pastels, yes. Only reason being, when you are colouring, you may end up spreading the pastel over the rest of the page. So worth setting it. Thank you, proud of Dad for sure! 🤗💗
