Ponytail here.Hey Frank, if you use a big yoga type ball instead of a pad, it’s more realistic. The players bounce off the ball, instead of just a smash.
I count at least 5 managers rebounding. Why not have a couple at the very least be "guided defenders" to make the shot more contextual and then the hi/lo pass more contextual? Also have a manager defend where they would be actually screening a body and make the slip read. Complete block practice with D1 athletes. Not one decision is made by the players. I sure hope but probably naively assume they added 2 on 2 with actual defenders playing as the next step in the progression.

Great observation coach. Unfortunately this is the norm. Not much evidence based skill acquisition knowledge being applied at most levels.
