I didn't go to NAMM this year but I agree with you. The Roland is almost a direct copy on the layout as the NORD. I'm looking to play a Rhodes Mark 8, Nord 6 and the Roland V-Stage! Good mini review. Greetings from Hollywood California!
hey I'm new to your channel, and i love your works. I've tried a thousand times but still couldn't make a synth HIT sound. like khirye tyler, pedro dyllan etc etc. can you make a tutorial on that?
Roland down bad for putting a PHA-4 keybed action on a $4,000 stage piano, The PHA-50 would’ve been ok but they need to step up their key actions, Studio logic has the game on lock as far as action
I think the Roland absolutly have a powerfull body just like you said a mix of the Nord but I have never owned any of these yet nor nord nor Roland im praying tho to ones get My hand on a nord to begin with i was hoping for Some kind of 49 or 32 Keys with the fully potentiel of Those great keyboards for now I have to do anything on My midi controller 88 Keys and Some vst plug-ins but im thankful that I just sometimes worship with the tools that have been giving by the Lord for me to worship thanks for the video and giving me this space to express My feelings about this topic keep them coming Amen !
The irony here is that Nord copied the layout of Roland from way back in the day, check the "VK-1000", that was released in '91 and the refresh "VR760", does it look familiar?
The Roland is definitely going after Nord. It's a nice instrument from what it appears but as a Nord Stage owner I think Roland has its work cut out for it because Nord is hard to beat.
In my honest opinion the roland v stage looks like nord and roland had a baby. And when i seen a picture of the top part i thought it was a nord at first till i seen roland on the back. But i think the Nord piano is going to be good. I have seen leaked photos of the elctro 7 like a idea of it. I never invested in Korg and never will. But that roland looks beautiful cant wait to see the differences in the v stage and nord stage
Same piano that any other nord has or can get. I don’t understand when they release a new nord whatever it is a stage or piano 6 or electro it sounds the same and people will say that sounds good when it don’t sound no different from a stage 3. Royal grand is royal grand you might can maybe tweak more on different models but the sounds are the same. Nords are to high priced to have same sounds on everything they release. Just saying
@@alanjackson5911Now that you mention this, it makes me think that’s how they keep you in the nord brand. It isn’t like a subscription where you have to pay for new updates, its maybe how those updates in sound library and all come to you. I think even the Stage 2 has the accessibility for Royal Grand 3D, and that is like a 10-15 year old keyboard. That’s my honest guest tbh. I don’t really know.
I can't say that the Vstage is a direct copy of nord. Roland has been making these types of keyboards since early 2000. Check the VR series. To me, they just wasn't decent. V Stage looks like a major upgrade.
I think the Nord stage sounds lousy. Nothing like a real piano. And I don’t like the Roland sound either. Sounds just like the Nord. I don’t like that haunting weird sound.

I'd rather see MainStage 4 than these boards tbh lol!
Lolol not MainStage 4 !!
Bruh straight up! MainStage need an update or something 😂
Yall we stocking up on Sunday keys now no more mainstage 😂
Kronos 🔥🔥
🤗I Always Like Going To This Man's Piano Class That I'm A Fan Of🤗
I’m excited for Korg Kronos I’ve been trying to own one for the longest!!!

I agree!! PHA-4 is so trash!! 🤦🏾♂️ I can’t even play fast with that thing it’s so heavy and it isn’t as responsive

Blessings brother 🔥🔥🙏🏾
The V Roland definitely looks like a Nord I agree with you! They just "borrowed" the layout design
Facts man loo
Except that they didn't. Roland had the OG layout design in 2003. Nord's first stage piano came two years later.
I understand what you say about the Kronos interface but I think they kept it the same as it makes sense to have the same layout as the Nautilus?...
I’m going with the Roland.
I'm just waiting for a Nord Stage 5 lol.
The irony here is that Nord copied the layout of Roland from way back in the day, check the "VK-1000", that was released in '91 and the refresh "VR760", does it look familiar?
There was first Kronos, Kronos X, Kronos LS, Kronos (2)?, Kronos (3)?...
Nord stage

They packed a lot of power into the board. Roland pianos are not for everyone but I like their character.
Piano 5 has 120 polyphony
I doubt Roland would dare say this new V Stage was gonna compete with the Mighty Nord....if this was a joke, I'm sure 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 at it....
One word for me: Kurzweil
I think the Nord stage sounds lousy. Nothing like a real piano. And I don’t like the Roland sound either. Sounds just like the Nord. I don’t like that haunting weird sound.
@@HeavyNailsPiano what sounds good to you?
@ none. I like the stage three sound better. I like the stage four ease of use better.
@@HeavyNailsPianoIt literally comes with the same pianos as the Stage 3 😂
