Hello. I will explain why I did not drain the coolant. First of all you should not even try to do this process without the car being completly cold (let it cool for one complete day). Since the car was completly cold the coolant system was not pressurized so I could remove the hose without any danger. Last I did not wanted to loose all the coolant. Thanks for your comment.

Highly suggest Genuine Honda only... that's why yours was defective. Aftermarket never lasts more than a year if that. Sorry you had to do this again.
