I can hold my breath through your entire dive, but I do it on my bed. I can't do with swim at such a deep underwater like you! It's so amazing!! I wanna be able to stay and explore underwater long time like you...
You were so awesome to show us the beautiful sea world you were exploring in this cave dive. Then later explain what was happening to your breath hold. You had contractions about 1-1/2 min into your two minute dive. I kinda needed to breathe after 1-1/2 minutes. But I will try to improve that. Please make more videos like this one. Thank you so much!
I used to be able to hold my breath like that, but Im approaching 60 now, and that just doesnt work anymore. I prefer to take some extra air down with me to continue breathing normally while I explore.
Is it always true that the more you practice holding your breath, the later you get contractions? I also freedive, and I noticed the longer I train, the earlier I get contractions and other uncomfortable hypercapnia feelings due to the mammalian dive reflex getting stronger! 😮 I used to hold my breath for up to 4 minutes, and only get contractions at around 3.30 or so. Now I'm able to hold my breath for about 6 minutes, but I can get contractions even at 40 seconds😂 and this is also true for dynamics and depth dives...
