PB Shrinivas was the leading singer of Kannada songs in my childhood days. His Sanskrit songs are also very nice. His version of Sri Venkatesha Suprabhatha is of entirely different raga, which is also available on UA-cam. He rendered many shlokas, suprabhathas, etc in his own style. His rendering of many Ashtakas like Aanjaneyaastaka, Krishnashtaka, etc. are available on UA-cam.

The white and the auspicious atmosphere is not just because of this particular song of worship. In India (I'm not sure about other countries) music instrumental or vocal ,dances , almost all art forms were developed for worship especially in the south (not sure about north). So those learning classical music and dance did that , especially in the past, in a religious setting i.e its based on worshipping our gods not that art is only for worship. If you are learning classical music or classical dance you do your very first performance at a temple and after that the more advanced learning starts. so to singers and classical dancers the stage they are performing on is ,we can say, sacred and dancing or singing a form of prayer. this can mostly be seen with older generation of singers,dancers and actors

I was there is at the concert. This is a divine song he removed the shoes just before this song. The gentleman in the seat requested him to sing harivarasanam, first he politely refused but on further insistence he removed his shoes and started singing. He spotted in white overalls a lot. The white and the auspicious atmosphere is not just because of this particular song of worship. In India (I'm not sure about other countries) music instrumental or vocal ,dances , almost all art forms were developed for worship especially in the south (not sure about north). So those learning classical music and dance did that , especially in the past, in a religious setting i.e its based on worshipping our gods not that art is only for worship.
If you are learning classical music or classical dance you do your very first performance at a temple and after that the more advanced learning starts.
so to singers and classical dancers the stage they are performing on is ,we can say, sacred and dancing or singing a form of prayer.
