I'm only allowed to take a few each season because of restrictions. That's exactly right, they are killers. Wish they weren't protected there in the uk. They sure do some damage. Appreciate you watching
i know bucket sets/cubby holes are legal in a lot of places, but isn't it against best management practice, considering they're lethal and indiscriminate? be a real shame if someone's dog were to die in one of those traps you set. makes trapping look bad too. stuff like this (along with misinformation) is what gets trapping banned in states like new mexico. you can easily set a body-grip trap or a foothold trap submerged at the water's edge where you can tell they've been entering the water and you run a much lower risk of killing someone's pet. just sayin'.
I've set conibears on land for 25 years and never caught a dog. I think I know what I'm doing... Also have never done anything to harm the image of trapping. And considering I trap 365 days a year and have caught thousands of animals in lethal and non-lethal sets, I do believe things will be ok. Appreciate your attempt to educate though.
Great video. Lots of information in a short timeframe, no BS. Subscribed! Thanks!
great looking set locations . when you get the fall rains , it should be water to water again .
Thank you. I sure hope so buddy. Worried about disease spreading
Thanks for showing buddy! I just saw an otter in a small pond were I fish while squirrel hunting and plan on trying to trap him this fall!!
Thanks buddy! He may not be around come Fall, but if so those sets will get him!
I have to set those 220s under water here if baited. But those buckets work under water too.
They really do. Keep after them
Good video!
