If people are still watching this video in 2023 and the video don´t work for them, I figured out that I couldn´t get rid of my password because my account was protected by Windows Live account. You need to change that like this: Press win -> click on your profile -> Change account settings -> Your info. In "Your info" under your profile picture, there will be something like "Sign in with your Local account instead". Press that, you´ll have to confirm your Microsfot Live accounts password and after that you simply just don´t write any password in those blank spots. Once you save it it will Log-Out and once you log back in, there is no password, no pin, nothing.

I just got a brand new powerful laptop. My old one was a Workhorse and it just died on me, and nobody wants to fix it. So I paid $1000 to get a really good laptop . It doesn't have an optical drive, it doesn't have all the inputs of my old laptop, doesn't even have a stupid micro SD card reader . Also, my old Microsoft Office disc was installed on this machine and they tell me Word will be cancelled in a few days, So I have to register my account with Windows even though I already put in the 25 character registration number. I tried to register my software with Microsoft but they are so convoluted I was unable to do it. I have a deadline of just a few days to figure it out before they will lock me out of my software that I paid for years ago.
That check box wasn't there. I am using Win 10 Home
When you change password, leave it blank, it means no password
THANKS DUDE THIS HELPED ME SO MUCH I LOVE YOU!
You're welcome!
In the morning I usually turn the power on my PC before I go make myself breakfast, but when I'd get back it would be stuck on the login password screen, which was pretty pointless since I live alone now. Then I'd have to wait a while for my PC to "wake up" and get to normal operational speed. Now I can just press power and all my stuff automatically launch (which always takes a long time) while I'm busy doing stuff. Thank you so much! I dunno why Windows has got to make simple operations like this so complicated.
Thanks heaps worked wonders on first try. But man is that a slow reboot! Was that on an HDD or what?
Hahaha same question that comes in my mind bro
It's obviously a virtual machine since not only is he screen recording from the same PC but it also showed the VMware startup screen.
That last check box after "netplwiz" does not exist on my computer 😂 everything else is the same. Classic
Classic indeed..........
Mine too...it's really annoying to enter password everytime...if u figure out let me know please 😭
try this, "ctrl + "R" key" then type in "control userpasswords2" then hit enter.
@@Eren-zt5go I tried...👆 that did bring up thst last window but the check box was still not there 🤷. Thanks for the help though.

Every time my computer wakes from sleep there is lock screen and I have to click log in, I want to disable lock screen on wake up.
Also the box you said to un check at 2:15 does not exist.
I already covered this in the top of the description, check there.

Here is the best, and may be the only way to remove the logon password request:
netplwiz ( enter the command netplwiz on the lower left dialog box. Stands for network places wizard. Allows you to remove password login. )
user must enter a user name and password to use this computer (select and unselect the box at the top)
hit apply at bottom
enter existing password and confirm a 2nd time.
ok
Password login request will be removed from that computer.
Use netplwiz to add and remove login passwords
Why you say this
Thanks you, so much
You're welcome!
Finally, Ive been trying to figure how to do this on my own for hours. Microsoft has really made it hard to do a lot of these small things

The command in the search is: netplwiz
In Africa, every 60 minutes equals 1 hour.
