I wrote a damn book because I believe in this sport so much. I want to get it out there so new people can see it as accessible media. We've got to do anything we can to grow it. There is so much potential for this game. Not saying it'll get to NFL or soccer levels, but it can definitely see a lot more success than what it currently does. Everyone just has to get out there and spread the word. Bring a new player, watch with friends, etc.
25:50 there’s gotta be a way to add either a simple bottom system or chip timers attached to each players ankle, and as they run out it trips and send the info to Matty and the other broadcast team members. And yes! Official head ref calls on big flags.
Based on my view of how WCCPL finale was run at SC village and half of the series going there next year, I hope they can get it together to have MLPB there in 2026. Would be dope
I was hoping for a west coast event. Vegas was a good time earlier this year. I think the limit paint in the Commanders Cup matches made for some fun viewing with fast points and big moves.
Curious to listen to this one 13:15 Tyler leaving Dynasty then they started to win a lot has to be rough. Love watching Tyler play but would have loved to see him win a bunch with Dynasty
I own a field in Utah and we have a nice grass air bunker field and i promote playing competitively with each and every rental group i have, as well as going out in my gear and showing them how to play like the pros and letting them try my high end stuff. The paintball industry is no different than say the automotive industry, you have to have the high end feed down to the low end, Formula 1 pushes technology that trickles down to everyday cars and weekend racers. We need more effort to trickle down pro play to the everyday player.
I really wish Tom and the MLPB would give up on getting on cable television. They’re fighting to break back into a dying media. The focus should be on streaming services. Start with a highly entertaining documentary and then branch out from there. Take “Drive to Survive” for example. Nobody I ever knew paid attention to formula 1 before the documentary show released. Now, everyone on my team and most of the guys I work with now watch formula 1 religiously. That would have never happened if the documentary was aired at midnight on an ESPN-adjacent channel.
Btw have you seen the prize money for Crossfit Games?!?! And yes working out has been around forever but Crossfit has only been around since 2000. Again I know they are wildly different but I think concept could be used.
The way relegation is right now, is the only way to do it in my opinion. This isn’t a sport where multi billionaires own team franchises, and are raking in millions due to owning a pro team. The sport is not secure enough. This is also the only sport that I can think of that has pro teams move up and down. But what else can you do? We can’t just keep adding new pro teams every year without dropping a pro team. Eventually we’ll have 50 pro teams. Unless it’s a sport where billionaires own stakes, have package tv deals etc.… relegation after 1 year is the only logical method. Not fair to make a semi pro team win back to back series titles
34:09 Agreed, Tyler can get you pumped up anytime I be ready to run through a wall when this man speaks 😂💪🏾

Amen brother ❤ to the moon
Your biggest mistake is marketing it as a sport vs a game

Always some of my favorite episodes when Mr. President is on! Love his transparency and openness on ideas. Great episode guys!
We love having him on too!
NXL Seattle would be AMAZING, just make sure it's during the Summer

Yea, we honestly agree with you.
Reach out to Tom Cole and tell him to research bear Creek Park in Cypress, Texas, it’s about 45 minutes from IAH
We will pass this along!

What are they?
For individuals:
1st -$315,000
5th-$45,000
10th-$26,000
15th-$13,000
20th-$8,000
38th-$2,750
And that’s not including event win bonuses.
Reno would be sick
Yes!
Invest in owning permanent tournament locations. This will make things easier and cheaper as the years go by
That's a great idea.
Any news on the 2 point conversion or quarters?
I agree with the two year average relegation.
It just makes so much sense!

The average of 2 years would not change the fact of dropping a pro team every year.
Broo the pnw has perfect and predictable weather 4 months out of the year.
Let's GO!
