Object of Obsession is not really that good of a perk Distortion is better in every way Obejct really shines with Lightborn. Lightborn would be a meme perk back in the years but now with soo many Flashlight related perks and Flashbangs , Background player and champion of light …. You name it…. It’s a perk worth to run , and it does what it do. It’s a utility perk
@@w0nderlord02 Object is more useful in chase (or anytime you're not just trying to stealth, since you see where they are too), and much more fun anyways. Super good when the killer runs Lethal too, because I instantly know who and where they are. (And can be silly and point/cheeky tbag at them lol.) It really helps for taking aggro too.

I'm a killer main trying to play survivor more often and I'm interested in "wallhax" style builds because im well aware and feel like i understand how strong it can be. (My current Wallhax build for solo que with varying degrees of success Is Bond, Streetwise, Built to last, and open handed. You might be able to replace built to last though, even though that's where most of the charges can come from. in any case i also ran an Iri key with blood amber and weaved ring due to my lack of addons. I think the math checks out to over 100 seconds of aura reading. I only ever had to restore the key once or twice, with one saving my teammate in doing so in endgame because i could bodyblock for them, and the other not mattering nearly as much due to a throw from another teammate.)
What about the blindness effect of haddies perk? Does it block the aura reading too if the killer has lightborn? Champion of light seems like a good addition too^^
The killer has to see you for you to see them too so each time object should’ve activated it instead just takes distortion tokens away without showing you the killer so no

Yea, they need lightborn. What I usually do is keep this build on a certain survivor, and then swap to it if there's a lobby with 3 or 4 flashlights.
