Ive had games with that Aussie before. He runs and hides in a corner of the map. Then tries to oneshot damaged mechs when they show up after killing his whole team. He is a pain in the ass to have on your team. He doesnt care at all about winning or teamwork. He has been doing that for at least a year now.

To everyone who says "I'll play the game my way so shut up because it doesn't affect you": You're wrong. MWO is a TEAM-BASED game. In any situation in this game, running off to "do your own thing" and getting yourself killed off easily by the enemy puts the rest of your team at a significant disadvantage, and harms their ability to win the game. Making a mistake is one thing; everyone does it- but being arrogant and belittling anyone who calls you out on what you're doing makes you an asshole, and the game would be better off without you.
Than i do not understand why he did not do it, i would do it immediately. :) I have noticed also insults in the comments during the game or at the end (not in this game). In my opinion the chat should be limited only to phares such as: gg, gl, hf...
I knew when you killed me with that double gauss build then ruined 6 others in the same match I'd see my butt getting shot on youtube LOL. But its truth I was trying to protect my torso, just spun too far trying to get aroung the corner in my orion. Epic shooting, lol that backseat driver though.
My favorite was a guy that was getting more and more upset the more I reminded him that this was just a video game and it's not that big of a deal. Eventually I said "relax bro" and he just started screeching at the top of his lungs into the mic about "HOW FUCKING CALM I AM" I couldn't stop laughing.
"Let me play my game, you play yours" Um, it's a 12v12 game. You have 11 other people that you can easily ruin the game for. The 1v1 mode'll be released in a few months, then you CAN play your game the way you want.
I wonder how he'll actually do 1v1. Probably lose a lot of matches. I hope we can use mechs we already have for solaris. I don't want to by a bunch of mechs for the mode.
PGI balancing: firing two ac20 = ghost heat doing the same with heavy gauss with 50 alpha = no ghost heat But your heavy gauss aim is damn impressive B33f
They think the charge time is enough to say that the ac20 at least is an easier weapon to use. Not to mention how easily a gauss can get critted vs an ac20
Hgr weighs 4 tons more, takes up enough slots to require standard engine for torso mount, potentially explodes for 25 damage when crit and only carries 5 shots per ton of ammo. There is a reason you don't see them used a whole lot, theu are pretty niche

rambos are good for harraser/suppresor roles. they come in from a side to distract the enemy team. having a mech hitting you when you're firing on someonne else requires a choice. I would use a faster mech though maybe with some armor.

That kind of effort likely gets him perpetually and justifiably mocked. And yes, his most played are assaults (over 50%, with heavies added it's over three-quarters of his matches). The very definition of the guy you have to carry in a match, one who will do more for your team if he'd been on the other one.

LRM Supernovas will never go away, they're basically the best platform to mount LRMs on right now cause of how the A variant is as a mech.
