I love this!! As a fellow assistant it's neat getting a glimpse into what you do day to day. :) It's a bit different in the sense that my salon has up to five stylists in at a time instead of just one, so I don't get as much one on one time with each client. But it's so neat getting to know all the clients and help out in the salon.
I love that! Kassie only specifically assists me because we are almost always double - triple booked so we really get to have that close connection with all of our clients!
I am going to be working as an assistant pretty soon and this video gets me even more excited about it! ☺️

i just graduated from cosmetology school and i still have a lot to learn alot of people tell me to start has an assistant other tell me just go for it .. Any helpful tips
I think starting with a hairstylist who is willing to help you grow and learn is a great opportunity. However, if the stylist you would be assisting under is not helping you to grow as a stylist yourself I would recommend not assisting.
