That Rolls Royce has awesome interior! I love the color, interior and it has stuff I never thought would be there!

Excellent video. I especially enjoyed this video as I have always wanted to see a Rolls up close like this. Beautiful car and workmanship. I love the high polished wood and the carpeting. What can you say, it's a Rolls!
great video, and btw, that north carolina public school bus, what is the school system for greensboro? i live in wake county, where its WCPSS. come to raleigh sometime kyle
@rizrz34 The 6 CD changer is in the trunk for weight balance. Also, the V12 in this car was designed in 1994, but it's one incredible engine. It's buttery smoothe, and that's all this car needs. If you want to experience it yourself, find a 1995-2001 BMW 750iL and test drive it. Same exact engine.
@PAPO9609 What? The factory in Crewe? That's a factory installed unit from Alpine, not aftermarket. I remember a relative's 1999 model having this same radio.
@Fred924 Were you born yesterday? In 1998-99 all flagship luxury saloons had cassette players. BMW 750iL, Jaguar XJ, Lexus LS400, Mercedes-Benz S600, Bentley Arnage, and Audi A8 models had them as well. It was the 90s. Most of their customer base likely had not changed their forms of music storage. The Alpine CD changer isn't aftermarket, but factory installed and standard. This model did have offer GPS as optional from 1998 into October 1999. The 1999 S600 didn't. 1999 BMW 750iL offered it std.
You are having a lot of glare those last couple of videos, is this because of the new camera? BTW, very nice car, odd color, but I love excentric cars! More please.
Very interesting! I was surprised to see that there are no forward facing lights for the vanity mirrors in the visors. It looked like there wasn't much legroom in the backseat. Have you driven one? I haven't and would always be interested to hear your impression.
kyle didnt you say that cd changer was aftermarket? i was just watching a motorweek review on same car, it shows same cd changer in same spot? maybe i misheard ya, sadly ive done that before
@Daaoud94 What you said it's indeed correct but if we want to be picky, it was RR that acquired Bentley in 1931 and after WW2, RR produced a lower specked RR range of cars badging them Bentley. This was the case until the 80's when they produced the Mulsanne Turbo when, for the first time, the power train was different from its brother, the RR Silver Spirit.
@datboiwes333 I agree, but how do you know how less-equipped it is in comparison? This particular car obviously had no options ordered to it and it came as-is. A fully-loaded 1999 Silver Seraph had front and rear park assist, dual TV screens, navigation, electronically-controlled front and rear bucket seats, fax machine, rear phone, sunshades/curtains, veneered picnic trays, fridge, 4-zone climate controls, and etc. in 1998. Some models could even have a glass, leather, or wooden divider.
did you drive your '65 Fairlane there... or is that just a coincidence that they have one the same color and is a 2-door right there parked behind the Rolls?
@pskittle488 uhh V10's are relatively new but the Dodge Viper always had a V10, and that car been around since '91. It was used in racing since the 80's.
What a crappy horn for such a luxurious, expensive car. Glad to see you doing a review of it though, this is something very unique! Keep 'em coming buddy!
@Fred924 Both the BMW and the Mercedes are made by robots on automated assembly lines. A RR isn't. It is hand assembled and some aspect of it, like the interior, it is handmade. If nothing else, that should answer your question about the price difference. Also as Kyle pointed out earlier, not all cars evaluated by the number of gadgets they contain. There are other, more important considerations exist to certain selected buyers, such as the history, reputation, exclusivity of a brand and so on.
this car is similar to the other you did a couple months back. I still don't understand what makes these cars so great. No navigation, and a radio with a cassette deck? the previous owner had to put an aftermarket cd changer in it? I would assume that would come standard. For the price of this, I could get a loaded BMW or Mercedes with more features.
@saabkyle04 This is why I enjoy watching your videos you show near or to no prejudices on what cars you do reviews on. Its the variety that counts you could do a banged up rusty old shopping cart to a fine example as the Rolls Royce. You are doing an awesome job and keep it up mate. :)
Right. But think about how much longer the Rolls-Royce is going to last than the Bimmer, particularly in terms of craftsmanship. Besides, there's a new set of 7-Series-based Royces in town: the Ghost sedan and the Wraith coupe...
A little fun fact. This is actually the same car that Alfred drives in "Batman Begins" I know it was random but I just watched the movie & I just realized that this was the car he drives & thought that was interesting
@Daaoud94 More like the other way around since whe both came out in 1998 BMW provided engine for both. Only at the end og 1999 VW took over and made some changes mainly to the engine moving away from BMW 4.4 liter V8 (Arnage + Arnage green lable in 2000 ) to a 6.75 liter V8 Rolls.Royce engine (fitted originally on the Bentley Turbo R) in October 1999 on the (Arnage Red Label)
@Moparman58 Try driving a car with this engine before making judgements like that. The goal is not brute power. The goal is smoothness and effortlessness. I don't really know what engines you are referring to, but my brother's Mustang GT has a lot of power, although it's not smooth and feels strained when pushed hard.
Kyle: "It's a beautiful colour-combination." - Maybe it is, but it still hurts my eyes. In any case, I think Kyle is so popular and loved by many among his fans worldwide, that he would've been instantly forgiven, even if he had confessed in tears, that he was a cross-dresser.
@k0edby22 It was designed in 1994 to be smooth and effortless. It exceeds expectations in both of those areas, and they're two of the most important qualities in a car like this. Like I told another, if you want to experience this engine for yourself, find a 1995-2001 BMW 750iL and test drive drive it. They have the exact same engine. You'll love it!
@datboiwes333 I agree with you, but it did come with such features when ordered. A lot of options became standard in October 1999 for 2000 model year. Most of those posting such absurd comments are highly ignorant and couldn't even step foot onto a RR dealership's driveway. Bluetooth wasn't even public until 1998 after development for this model had been completed in 1997.
@n0c0n In 1999, cassette players were standard on everything. In fact, my neighbor had a 2005 BMW X5 with the BMW navigational system and it didn't have a CD player. (:
@carguy379 Don't know if I'd say "cheap" so much as "out-of-place." I liken BMW interiors to executive offices...organized, functional, efficient, but not particularly inviting. A Rolls Royce (or Bentley or Jaguar for that matter) has an interior that's more like the living room of a luxurious manor. You're right though, these two elements don't mix well.
@Xboxlivemgear The interior is not cheap TRUST ME. They aren't "well equipped" because that is not the purpose of vehicles like this. It's a chauffeur vehicle designed to transport the rich. If you want a car with the features that's what BMW 7-series and Benz S-Class etc are for. These machines are hand built. You're not gonna get any hand built car for under 100k.
@carguy379 Yeah, they are exactly the same as the controls in my 7 series. Looks/feels great in my car because the whole center console is black, by it really does look bad here.
hey kyle, next time you do a review, please don't turn on the radio while you're filming the interior cos I find it rather annoying, overall great car and great review though.
@MrPowertorque Ok, obviously this is my first time watching this one.......But I kinda figured it's a Rolls tradition, seeing the Phantom has a power reserve meter in the place of one
Rolls Royce is a piece of art!!!
Fantastic old school Rolls. They don't make 'em like this anymore :-(
That Rolls Royce has awesome interior! I love the color, interior and it has stuff I never thought would be there!
Excellent video. I especially enjoyed this video as I have always wanted to see a Rolls up close like this. Beautiful car and workmanship. I love the high polished wood and the carpeting. What can you say, it's a Rolls!
Always great to see a review on a car so incredible as this. Great vid as usual..I hope you have something else from this dealership coming?
great video, and btw, that north carolina public school bus, what is the school system for greensboro? i live in wake county, where its WCPSS. come to raleigh sometime kyle
I like that you rolled up there in your Fairlane.
What incredible craftsmanship on those rolls.
awesome video as always kyle!
thumbs up!
Nice review as always,,,,Elegence just drips everywere from this car...
Hey Kyle, isn't ther a way to lower the hood ornament into the grille? Could you show that feature next time?
@rizrz34 The 6 CD changer is in the trunk for weight balance. Also, the V12 in this car was designed in 1994, but it's one incredible engine. It's buttery smoothe, and that's all this car needs. If you want to experience it yourself, find a 1995-2001 BMW 750iL and test drive it. Same exact engine.

@saabkyle04 Kyle I Saw your other video. Was it of a Rolls too? Around a 1999? Or was that a Bently?
@thatBMWkid No it was not designed in 1994, it was designed around 1992-93 as the E38 chassis was developed over 6.25 years.
Great viedo
I had i question what means invariable valve timing????
What a beauty! Great vid Kyle!
Very interesting! I was surprised to see that there are no forward facing lights for the vanity mirrors in the visors. It looked like there wasn't much legroom in the backseat. Have you driven one? I haven't and would always be interested to hear your impression.
Did the older versions have automatic seat belts?
kyle didnt you say that cd changer was aftermarket? i was just watching a motorweek review on same car, it shows same cd changer in same spot? maybe i misheard ya, sadly ive done that before
Hey, Did you drive your fairlane to this one? cuz at 0:32 it looks just like your fairlane
@Daaoud94 What you said it's indeed correct but if we want to be picky, it was RR that acquired Bentley in 1931 and after WW2, RR produced a lower specked RR range of cars badging them Bentley. And i had a question, what means invariable
Valve timing.
I love that Rolls Royce is still the best of the best in luxury cars. A Rolls is moving Art on four wheels.
Kyle, you already have a '99 Silver Seraph on your channel from about 4 months ago, so what's the deal with this?

Are you using the same camera as Katers17?
Every time I see that model and color, it for some reason makes me think of the judge from the movie Caddyshack lol
Love your video Kyle, and love the music too! Is that a rock radio station, and which one?
You missed some buttons on the leg area on the middle rear seat
Extremely nice cars and would surely love to own one but I would be afraid of what it would cost to fix it should something break.
very nice car how much for it the value can't be at 100.000 any more I know that but very beautiful.
Whats the price of the car now?
@saabkyle04 btw what about the power seats in the rear? nice job regardless :) well done
What kind of a color name is oatmeal? and on a rolls???? oatmeal interior???
this car is similar to the other you did a couple months back. I still don't understand what makes these cars so great. No navigation, and a radio with a cassette deck? the previous owner had to put an aftermarket cd changer in it? I would assume that would come standard.

Pardon me would you have any Grey Poupon?
The Most Expensive Luxury Cars. 💵💵💵💵💵💵💵
nice car when are you going to go back to the 70's-80's again
this car is strange it seams old for its time but also WAY ahead
sorry to be picky but you didn't mention the rear seat controls.
@uberenthusiasts It's a chauffeur vehicle why would it need one?
いいねぇ〜

@msdb320 Low gears as in 1 and 2, tis used for engine braking when going downhill.
@Saabkyle04
What means invariable valve timing
Right. But think about how much longer the Rolls-Royce is going to last than the Bimmer, particularly in terms of craftsmanship. Besides, there's a new set of 7-Series-based Royces in town: the Ghost sedan and the Wraith coupe...

I know it was random but I just watched the movie & I just realized that this was the car he drives & thought that was interesting
the 1998-2002 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph was assembled in
Crewe, England
@niquesinik same chassis, very similar car. Bentleys were basically the sport model then.
@saabkyle04
So it's basically just bad luck I see the glare now, not a problem with the new cam. That's good to know. Thanks!
The Best Car in the World during the Time of My Birth; 1999
How much is it ?
this car is awesome, and I think the black is much better, the color of this Rolls is a little bit wrong :P
cool video! :D
Fun Fact: *the chime of Rolls Royce is Bentley...*
i love how at 7:19 you switched from windows to mirrors xD
haha kyle came in the fairlane #CLASSY thats how you look presentable!!!
BMW started making jetfighters engines.
And yes, the V12 engine in this RR, called M73B54, was made by BMW.
So is Rolls Royce also BMW Kyle?
@Daaoud94

very nice rolls
I wish you sometimes would go for a drive in these cars
SEETHER! Hell yeah! Nice tape deck. lol Awesome video, as usual. Makes me wanna be rich!
ahhh this car is soooo nice!!!

i hate that buzzing sound, it sounds like the 80s cars again! but i love your vids
@n0c0n In 1999, cassette players were standard on everything. In fact, my neighbor had a 2005 BMW X5 with the BMW navigational system and it didn't have a CD player. (:

It's Rose Gold
"Sunrise" is quite the unique color
Ah Ha, you brought the Fairlane out for a drive. Nice!

lol always those old-style phones remind me James Bond movies .
@poptartsandburgers
You realize the V-10 is a fairly new invention, They simply wern't any when this car was built.
@derbigpr500 yeah i already watch that clip and it amazed me how they make a single rolls royce. eve a small bump on the leather they won't use it
More cars should implement a rear tray on the seat
the grill on RR vehicles is also known as a roman coleseum grill
And a Greek temple
@@mscott3918 that to

Song ?
the engine on the 1998-2002 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph
Engine
5.4 L V12
Exactly! Getting A to B in those is something you don't want to do!
wow what a nice review, and such an odd car. thanks
@k0edby22 So? The Maybach is a v12 produces 550 hp, yet, it's one of the best engines in the world; not to mention it's dead quiet.
Very nice car. The only thing that kills it is the lack of a tachometer and that cheesy aftermarket radio.
wow didnt know bmw made the ac controls or do they own rolls royce ?
hey every body hows it going
@k0edby22
Its tuned for refinement its not a high end performance car.
