Yes and no,some boss can't beat it,but some bosses can but the area here is closed and when doing the Excalibur,that will launch the mob hight up,but there's a ceiling,so almost every hit of Excalibur of the defender will hit the boss,defender if better for doing battles in a open area,and in some of the videos before Maledictus beats it

In tomorrow’s video, I’ll have the Defender fight in the usual Sky Island Stadium, not the Burning Arena, and as expected, he has become much stronger. The battle against the Nameless Guardian was especially incredible.

Just because of the terrain(Ignis Burning Arena)that it's closed,so almost every attack (even the Excalibur,the deadliest)will hit ignis

@@ShopWe-u5c Defender has become capable of defeating Ignis even outside the Burning Arena. (Though his win rate is lower than in the Burning Arena.)
He has gained Lifesteal and Knockback, making him significantly stronger against Ignis.
