Had no idea that center compartment on the dash was there, I looked for ages to find where to plug my iPhone in, oh wait there is 2 more compartments up there!😮

Does the compartment have to stay open or are you meant to leave your phone in there and close it?

Video is to show the “correct” plug to use to get apple car play….has to be that plug slot, and your phone has to stay plugged into it while using apple car play.

You can use a USB C to Lighting cable to obviate the adapter.
