That was a small edit based on the fact that an ex-Reading Railroad steamer now resides on the Reading & Northern (R&N), aka the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern (RBMN), aka the Blue Mountain & Reading railroad (BM&R).
Because that’s what kills my sense of humor. But here’s the actual answer which makes this video even less funny. Why RDG changed to R&N? I was trying to be funny when I edited the railroad abbreviations like that. It should be self explanatory as to what they mean, but since the 2102 worked on both the RDG (Reading) and now works on R&N (Reading and Northern) I thought it would’ve fit the joke right in the beginning of the video. Also if you’re asking me to take it down, reupload it with BM&R (Blue Mountain and Reading) and RBMN (Reading Blue Mountain and Northern) I won’t, because they are both literally the same exact railroad company. It’s all the same thing and I do not have any further intentions on making such edits just to waste my time.
Oh, sorry. For a second I thought you were someone else suggesting I should feature the 2100 in my next nutshell, even though I already am working on N&W 475’s whistles in a nutshell. Side note, the 2100 also had more than one whistle you know. If you haven’t seen the 100 steam locomotives video by Mainline Motion Pictures (which unfortunately you can’t anymore because of stupid copyright bogus, but unless if you have a physical dvd copy) the 2100 also sported a Star Brass 5 chime, and an SP 6 chime before getting California’d up with an IC 3 chime (which sounded so wrong on the poor T1) and I hope that when it starts operating again, I should then be able to make that nutshell video possible. That is, after 2 years of waiting for it to return, which shouldn’t be too long now.
@jenniferthompson1247 Well it is true that I am busy working on college/school work, but do NOT worry I can assure you that I WILL keep uploading despite the daily grind. Right now I’m working on an idea for my very first Simpsons parody. You know the old saying, a man’s work is never done.

0:01 why did it go from RDG to R&N?

0:32 425?
Yes, a brief cameo which just so happened to be part of the shot. Like marshmallows in hot chocolate, a match made in Heaven.
