Box Hill is 14 km (9 mi) east of Melbourne's Central Business District. At the 2016 Census, Box Hill had a population of 11,395.
In recent years, Box Hill has become notable for its significant population of people of Asian birth or descent, particularly Chinese. The numerous Asian restaurants and retailers in its shopping district have contributed to the visibility of this aspect of the suburb's demographics since the 1990s.
Box Hill is also a major transport hub for Melbourne's eastern suburbs, with a substantial train station, the route 109 tram, and numerous bus routes serving the suburb.
In the 12-month period to January 2020 Box Hill reported a median house price of A$1.17 million for a three bedroom house

Here it seems that the atmosphere is calm and not as busy as in KL.. there are less vehicles and no traffic jams like in the city of KL.. life here seems calmer, easy and not dizzying compared to life in the city of KL Malaysia..
