I always knew when these videos started popping up I was going to regret not paying for 2 wave shipping lol. Super excited to see some game play from you!
As someone who enjoys painting minis but is horrible at it, I appreciate these chibi minis. They really pop with any paint applied. My Gloomhaven minis hate me so I'm glad that I'm able to build up m confidence by painting this style of mini again.
@zdelorean88 I wasn't thrilled with my paints on the gloomhaven miniatures either, but life has gotten better with contrast paints. My problem now is, I just get too many games with mini's!! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer quick question, if you played it already, is it better than the first United? It seems to be more of the same but I was wondering if anything was updated gameplay-wise. I have it in my cart and I keep debating with myself. Thanks in advance.
@@SoloBoardGamingKnight I've only played it once so far (playthrough coming tomorrow), so speaking generally, if better is playing X-Men, or having someone be able to play as the villain, then yes. This has been more of a group game for me, and as for my group, some of them went to GenCon, so there are other games being brought out. :) Hope that helps.
I really love that they have the option of some of the villains playing as heroes, as per the comics. The Marvel mutant teams were definitely my favorites growing up - I have a lot of the graphic novel editions of some of my favorite X-Men storylines. Fatal Attractions was amazing...I might have to do a review of it soon on the other channel. Can't wait to see you get this one to the table. It will be interesting to see which mutants you take as heroes!
I'll expect a Marvel Comic review soon. Enjoyed the highlights from your Arkham RPG. :) And I'll be cheering for Magneto to win weather I'm playing as him or against him. ;)
We had our house unboxing last week but a family emergency has kept the tokens unpunched. Easier storage that way I guess. There’s a chance that our first game will be 4 handed. I’m really impressed by the figures. Sharp pointy bits and beautifully molded hands. Dunno how the addition of a fourth special action card for each hero will jibe with heroes/villains already in the collection. The villains seem ramped up too. BAMs for days. I’m really excited to get it to the table. It also means that my MU_DB is officially out of date
Love the chibi art style
@Mojo It is cool they went with a different style than the other Marvel miniatures game, Crisis Protocol. :)

@Josh Walton Hope it's not a long wait! :)

Nice! I ended up not backing it, as I only knew a couple of the X-Men and I already own all the other marvel united stuff. So much stuff to paint!
@Willem Too much stuff to paint ... going with boring unpainted mini's for this, as I've barely started to paint any from the original release. lol
What I like most are the minis with their bases! The previous game was decent but those minis are beautiful! I think X-Men resonates more with me.
Textured bases are a plus for sure!! :)
