He was sat with about 6 young ladies drinking champagne. I couldn't pass comment on him or Noel, who I did genuinely find arrogant and boorish. They made the big time, adulation of millions. Pressure of performing, private lives splashed on newspapers, it's our job to apprentice the songs, not pass comment on what we think of them.

I think you're forgetting that Liam hated doing interviews and prefers Noel doing the talking. Liam is much more laid back whereas Noel is more extroverted / communicative which is why it may seem like domination. And also he was the band leader and Liam's older brother as well
