Stunning scenery folks. Who cares what the pie was called, the main thing is, was it tasty. Looked to me that it could do with a dousing of Birds custard. Then again, I’ve always been a philistine. Having a French speaker on board must help. My, Ar voo un cuppa, doesn’t do much in Rural France, much less my , non, je ne parle francais. I have mastered the galic shrug. I have it demonstrated to me every time I try to talk to anyone of the French persuasion. Stay safe

TREAD the globe can’t wait to hear that. I find that’s one of the greatest enjoyments of traveling, struggle with language but most people seem to appreciate it so much when you make an effort. A linguist once told me the first thing you should learn is “he’s paying” and then point to the person next to you. 😁
Chris is obviouly an older guy who missed out on compulsary French in school. But on the other hand, there really is nothing logical about that language🤔 I reckon you could do a whole blog on Chris trying to get his tounge around those french words🤣 Was there any reason, why you did not go to Switzerland, having been quite near the border?
