I got to see it when it first started and we live in Wapato,WA out in the country. I didn't even know about it which was strange. I noticed the sky looked really different. Then saw the northern lights the colors and thought i was imagining cus i didnt hear of it. I always wanted to experience it sometime in my lifetime and i got to ✨
I fell asleep when I happend and now I'm sad 😔

What folks don’t know is this really isn’t a good thang seeing these lights, it means earth’s magnetic field is getting weaker!!
No it doesn't. It's just the volume of material coming from the Sun is very energetic.
Negative if they were so energetic then it would of been a higher class of storm, there only been like 6 maybe 8 times since 1800s that they’ve been seen this far, you know why there different colors don’t you?? It’s the different layers of are atmosphere the radiatent particles penetrate
@@JamesRazorbacks you say seeing the lights is bad. Its not. I live in a place where they are not common. But over my lifespan its happened more than 10 times. Nothing bad has happened in 47 years of observation. The magnetic field was not weaker 40 years ago when they were observable over my parents house. But the only way they can be observed over my house if the event was more energetic than the most common storms.
